Screw-on sheet metal rosette Screw-on rosettes for cladding
of the connection thread and the wall opening in the case of wall fitting connections or the like
known. The threaded part of these known rosettes has been so far in part
made that thread was cut into the inner wall of the rosette hole.
Naturally, these rosettes were expensive because they used one for the thread to be cut
thick material cross-sections have mul3ten and therefore generally from one
full material cross-section. Such rosettes are also already
made from a drawbar with a curved collar at the top
into which the screw-on thread cinges.ch is cut. These rosettes always have to
still consist of a relatively thick-walled material, since the curved
The upper collar has a sufficient material thickness to cut the thread
got to. The known rosettes therefore require an undesirably large amount of material and are also
expensive because of their relatively cumbersome manufacturing process.
Furthermore, rosettes of the type mentioned are known in which
the cladding part of the rosette is made from a sheet metal part in order to save material
is. The threaded part is a special component in the upper opening of the
Sheet metal part inserted and soldered inside to the sheet metal part. These cladding rosettes
however, they are still relatively expensive because they are made from two parts
that have to be soldered together.
According to the invention, the disadvantages mentioned are eliminated in that
the red shape
-e approach of a contiguous sheet metal part
existing rosette with a formed by a solid compression,
is provided inwardly pressed folding edge, which in a known manner to a
Thread is deformed. This ensures that the entire Verkl.eidungsrosette
can be made from a thin and coherent sheet metal part that
no machining is required to manufacture the threaded part,
so that the production of this cladding rosette is easy and cheap, especially
the cost of materials is also very low compared to the known rosettes.
In the case of washers, it is known to use the inner edge of the
a circular sheet metal ring by cutting and bending it
to deform into a thread. The application of this measure at the so far
known rosettes, however, was not possible, since the formation of the inner edge
Opening a cladding rosette as a thread no longer has the connection thread
is disguised in the required way, so that the rosette is unusable for its purpose
will. Only through the measure according to the invention, in particular through the arrangement
a folded edge in the tubular extension of the cladding part of the rosette
achieved the advantages listed. The invention is illustrated using an exemplary embodiment in the drawing.
Fig. 1 shows a cross-section, Fig. 2 shows an interior view and Fig. 3 shows an application example
the rosette. The rosette i consisting of a sheet metal part is inside the
Rosette holes with one formed by an annular compression, according to
provided inside pressed folding edge 2, which is of course also made in another way
can be. This sheet metal raid is cut through at one point 3 and in itself
known manner so deformed that .he receives the pitch of a thread and
thus on the thread .l of a wall connection pipe 5 or the like. Can be screwed.
