Vorliegende Erfindung bezweckt Verbesserungen der bekannten, aus einem Drahtspiralenkranz bestehenden Reinigungsvorrichtung für Kamine, Rauchröhren u. dergl. Die Verbesserungen beziehen sich auf die Bewegungseinrichtung des Apparates im Kamin, auf die Construction und Verstellbarkeit des Spiralenkranzes. Zweckmäfsig giebt man ihm die in Fig. 2 und 3 dargestellte Form. Der Reifend ist zu diesem Zwecke so eingerichtet, dafs sich dessen Enden über einander schieben (Fig. 2). Am innen liegenden Ende ist ein Bund / befestigt, durch welchen das andere Reifenende geschoben ist. Letzteres ist etwa bis auf ein Drittel des Reifens mit schräg stehenden Schlitzen m versehen, in welche eine im Bund / gelagerte endlose Schraube η eingreift. Durch Drehen dieser Schraube verschiebt sich dieses Reifenende im Bund /, wodurch sich der Reifenquerschnitt vergröfsert ■ oder verkleinert.
