Erfindungsgemäß ist der Briefkasten dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Kastengehäuse aus Kunststoff, insbesondere treibmittelhaltigem bzw. aufgeschäumtem Kunststoff, und die Frontplatte aus Metall« insbesondere Leichtmetall» besteht.
