Skizze,)
Bei der Lichtkoagulation krankhafter Veränderungen der
Netzhaut menschlicher Augen muß ein intensiver Lichtstrahl (i) unter Sicht auf die kranke Stelle gelenkt
werden. Dies geschieht während der Betrachtung der Netzhaut mit dem Spaltlamponmikroskop (7) nach Aufsetzen
eines Kontaktglases auf die Hornhaut des zu behandelnden Auges. Um den Lichtstrahl ohne Behinderung der Beweglichkeit
mit der Spaltlampe in das Auge zu bringen, wird die Drohachse der Spaltlampe als Hohlachse (2) ausgeführt und der
Strahl über 2 Prismen (3) von unten in diese Achse (k) eingefädelt.
Die weitere Strahlführung oberhalb der Achse kann auf verschiedene Arten erfolgen. Auf der Zeichnung wird
sie am Beispiel der Zeiss-Spaltlampe gezeigt, wo der Koagulationsstrahl
(1) vom durchbohrten Spiegel (5) ab parallel mit dem Beleuchtungslicht aus der Spaltleuchte (6) verläuft.
