Die nachfolgend beschriebene Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Vorrichtung, mittelst deren die Spitzen von Schuhen oder Stiefeln einfach und bequem dadurch aufgeweitet werden können, dafs zwei über einander liegende Prefsplatten, welche in die Spitze des Schuhes oder Stiefels eingeführt werden, aus einander bewegt werden. Hierbei kann man die obere dieser Prefsplatten, also die, welche gegen das Oberleder drückt, noch mit Aufsätzen versehen, durch welche besondere Stellen des Leders noch mehr herausgedrückt werden, sofern dies die besondere Beschaffenheit der Zehen wünschenswerth macht.The invention described below relates to a device by means of which the tips of shoes or boots can be easily and comfortably widened thereby can, that two superimposed Prefsplatten, which in the tip of the shoe or boots are introduced, moved apart. In beiliegender Zeichnung sind drei Ausführungsformen einer solchen Aufweitvorrichtung dargestellt, und zwar zeigt Fig. 1 einen Längsschnitt durch einen mit dieser Vorrichtung versehenen Schuh. Es ist hier A der Schuh, in dessen Spitze α die beiden Prefsplatten B und E über einander angeordnet sind. Die untere Platte B trägt eine mit Schraubengewinde versehene Hülse C, in der sich ein Schraubenzapfen D befindet. An diesem Zapfen sitzt die obere Prefsplatte E, und zwar sind die Theile D und E derart verbunden, dafs man den Schraubenzapfen in der oberen Prefsplatte drehen kann. Auf dem Schraubenzapfen D befindet sich ein Flantsch F, Fig. 1 und 2, mit Zähnen f, mittelst deren die Vorrichtung in folgender Weise bewegt wird:In the accompanying drawing, three embodiments of such an expanding device are shown, namely FIG. 1 shows a longitudinal section through a shoe provided with this device. Der Hebel G besitzt einen handkurbelartigen Aufsatz g, mittelst dessen er angehoben oder auch gedreht werden kann. Wird nämlich der Hebel G angehoben, so gelangt der Stift g¹ aus dem Zahnflantsch Ff heraus, und man kann nun den Hebel G so weit drehen, dafs der Stift g¹ in eine andere Zahnlücke gelangt.
