Description

KAISERLICHESIMPERIAL

PATENTAMT.PATENT OFFICE.

This means at cesspools for disinfection of the feces is dai's are brought to the Desinfectionsmittel which stops at the Eingufsstelle, in intimate contact, the fresh waste material, which rise first to the surface and a time swim here long for 1 they Soak them up with the disinfectant before they sink to the floor.

While up to now facilities have been used which either simultaneously with the Rinse water brought disinfection water (milk of lime) into the waste pipe or from the floor The present invention serves the same purpose achieved in more extensive and simpler ways.

A cylinder b of any cross-section is inserted into the cesspool α in such a way that it cuts off at the top with the ceiling of the pit, but on the other hand is only immersed 40 to 50 cm at a mean water level, so that the water of the cesspool can still pass freely even with high sludge deposits to allow in the cylinder. The waste pipe c opens into this cylinder, which is advantageously led below the mean water level in order to form a seal against the rise of gases in the waste pipe. The upper end of the cylinder b is closed by a cover d . From here the disinfectant (chlorinated lime or the like) is poured in, which is communicated to the water in the cylinder, but remains here for the time being. The fresh feces, which get into the cylinder through the waste pipe c, tend to rise to the surface, where they are soaked in the water heavily impregnated with the disinfectant before they sink to the bottom. The fresh waste materials are therefore thoroughly disinfected, and for this purpose the disinfectant can be renewed as often as desired, since the cylinder is easily accessible and only needs to be poured in.
