Description
An exemplary embodiment of the invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the drawing. In Fig. I an electric industrial furnace is shown in longitudinal section and in Fig. A the same in plan. The furnace i is provided with a door 2 at each of its two ends. The movable grate consists of upright flat bars 3, which can be provided in a known manner with replaceable or fixed tips for carrying the goods and, as is known with such grate bars, are clamped in the frame 5 with the interposition of a spring n4. Instead of providing each grate bar 3 with a spring 4, it is also possible to tension the bars by means of one or more common springs. The grate bars 3 are a little more than twice as long as the stove hearth and penetrate the length of the oven. This well-known resilient clamping of the grate bars -. which always remains the same, warping of the bars due to thermal expansion is prevented: frame 5 is supported on suitable support webs outside the furnace, fully supported on rollers 6; which run on rails 7-1a. - In the furnace itself, the RoA rods 3 are felt by = supports 8, on which they slide: - These supports 8 can also = rollers. are provided, -that the grate bars-, carry ::; -To prevent that part of this rust; which just leaves the 'oven' and cools down too quickly, a screen plate 9 is provided on each - side of the oven - under the grate bars. Furthermore, it must be taken care of; _ That the inlet gap of the rose beneath the furnace door is effectively covered. - This becomes dadurr.h-: berej, eht; : that the masonry is pulled 1xntex outside the oven doors: between: the - grate rooms almost up to the height - of the grate bars, as can be seen from the drawing # that the lower edge of each oven door 2 is seen with grooves through which the grate bars run, or the furnace sleepers or doors are provided with fixed or movable aprons which have grooves for the grate bars to pass through.
Sealing the grate and the furnace structure against one another is essential in enamelling furnaces known are not the subject of the present invention.
The drive of the grate 3, 4 in one direction is done according to the invention by a special electromechanical lifting device, the most important parts of which are the electric motor io, the V-belt drive ii, the worm gear 12, the lifting disc 13, the rotatable thimble 18, the ropes 14, the transmission discs 15 and 16 and the pull ropes or chains. 17 are. The mode of operation of this drive is as follows: After starting the engine io, via the V-belt drive ii and the gear 12, the stroke disk 13, which is arranged off-center on the gear wheel, is shown in the direction indicated by the arrow. indicated_ th direction rotated. This lifting disc 13 comes with deal. Rope 14-in contact and begins-to take it along so that it is continuously wound up. Likewise, the ropes or chains 17, the ends of which are attached to the grate frame 5, wind on the large wheels 16. As a result, the grate 4 together with the bars 3 is moved from right to left in an “extremely short time”. After he has now reached the end position for loading from the left, the drive motor is turned off io. With this drive device, the grate can be moved forwards with the maximum permissible acceleration and, after about half the loading path has been covered, it can be braked again with an approximately equal deceleration.
The eel shoot of the grate in the other directional valley, from left to right, ! takes place, as is known per se in the case of loading devices, by means of the counterweight i9, which via ropes 20, translation pulleys 21, 22 and the other ropes or Chains 23, which are attached to the grate frame 5, acts. This way becomes a non-positive drive achieved for both directions of movement. So by the fact that no play in the drive system can have an effect, one avoids harmful jolts. If desired, instead of the counterweight i 9, a second motorized one can be used Hub disc drive can be provided. The two cam disk drives must then be in Interaction stand.
1VIit 24 ist das im Ofen i befindliche und mit 25 das außerhalb des Ofens befindliche Gut bezeichnet.1VIit 24 is that in the furnace i and with 25 the one outside of the Well located in the furnace.
