Process for the production of shrink rings, in particular for electrical
Machines Shrink rings, which are required in large numbers in electrical engineering
up to now, one has either drilled out of solid material or from seamlessly drawn
Pipe cut off. Both types of production require a relatively expensive starting material
and also require machining work, which always involves a certain waste of material
has in the wake.
It is known per se to press rings into a closed on all sides
Calibrate die. For example, one has rings made by Gienen
pressed in this way while reducing the inner diameter. Cast rings
however, they have the disadvantage that they often have imperfections.
Werkstoffabfall läl'it
The invention relates to a process for the production of shrink rings,
preferably for electrical: machines, and consists of having one first with
smaller inner and outer diameter cut out of sheet metal ring ir, one
Die is widened to the final mark and pressed to preserve the mark. Material waste läl'it
largely avoid this manufacturing process. by from the after
After cutting out the remaining parts of the rings, additional rings of smaller diameter
be cut out, which can be further processed in the same way.
The structure of the material is strengthened significantly in the specified treatment, and
therefore softer raw materials can be processed and for this reason the
Manufacturing costs for the rings can be reduced. There is also a saving
because it is not necessary to post-process the rings,
because they have a completely smooth surface without cracking or pore formation.
The solidification of the material results from the reduction in cross section during
the machining, because as a result of the upsetting a greater strength and a
set greater hardness.
dargestellt. Soll z. B. der in Abb. i a dargestellte Schrumpfring i mit dem Innendurchmesser
B, während dessen scht-ach kegelig ausgebildeter Ansatz 5 mit dein Durchmesser A
An embodiment of the invention is shown schematically in the drawing. Should z. If, for example, the shrink ring i shown in Fig. Ia is produced with the inner diameter A, the outer diameter R and the thickness D, a ring 2 (Fig. Ib ) with the diameters A ', B' is first created. d. 1i. with smaller inside and outside diameter, but cut out your final dimension DI, whereby the dilierenz between the start and end points is kept larger for the inside diameter than for the outside diameter. The output ring 2 thus has a larger cross section than the finished ring. i. The pre-machined ring 2 is now according to. Fig. 2 introduced into an annular seat 8 of a lower die part 3, the essential dimensions of which correspond to those of the finished ring, as indicated by the dimensions A and B. The die upper part.l has the same main dimensions, that is, the punch diameter is equal to B, while its sht-oh conical extension 5 is designed with the diameter A. When lowering the upper part (Fig. 3; ring 2 is now widened to the prescribed dimensions A and B. At the same time, a cross-sectional deformation occurs approximately according to the contour lines 6. When the upper part is lowered further, its annular surface comes into contact on all sides the widened and deformed ring and presses it with caliber to the prescribed thickness D.
