Drying vessel with moisture meter The drying condition of the dry goods inside a dryer can be checked by installing a measuring device in contact with the dry goods inside the dryer. In the case of drying facilities whose dry material moves in a constant * flow, the moisture measurement then presents no difficulties. However, if the vessels are closed, in which the material to be dried is circulated by a suitable stirring device, such a measuring device would be inaccessible. According to the invention, the measuring element of the moisture meter is installed in closing flaps or in lids of the filling or emptying opening of the dryer. The closure device of the emptying opening should preferably be used for this purpose, since the material to be dried is always guided past it by the existing stirring device.
By connecting the locking device to the measuring element les
Moisture meter has the advantage that the measuring device is light at all times
is accessible and a special opening for the measuring element is unnecessary. Also is
this spatial arrangement is beneficial in that the iVIeßgut during the drying process
is constantly rolled in advance at the emptying opening and thus all parts of the dry material
be checked in the course of drying.

In Fig. 1 the arrangement of the measuring element of an electrical moisture meter in a vain drying vessel is shown. The drying vessel t is intended to be double-walled, so that the drying medium is accommodated in the space that is created. The vessel i is closed by the lid 3 at the top. There . The vessel can therefore also be used for drying under vacuum. A Rii '<iiwerk 2 b: ## @ - irkt a constant circulation of the dry material in the drying vessel. The outlet opening through which the completely dried material leaves the drying container is located at the bottom of the cleaning container. This outlet is closed by the outside lid. The measuring element 5 of the moisture meter is housed in the upper part of the lid.

the Metallbahncii are shown as two coiled spirals. This form
allows the use of the metal tracks as electrodes a, 2r device for

of the measuring currents. Furthermore, this shape allows the generation of eddy currents through
High frequency in the material to be measured. In the case of the last two measuring elements, the metal tracks
expediently separated from the material to be dried by an electrically non-conductive layer.
The metal webs are applied in a known manner by baking
Silver reading into the ceramic base of the IVIePoräans. The insulating .cover
of the metal tracks, if this is desired, is advantageously carried out by means of a coating
with an electrically non-conductive glaze.
