Verfahren zum Fixieren von Gerbstoffen im Leder Es wurde gefunden, daß lösliche KondengationspTodukte aus Cyanamid oder Dicyandiamid mit Formaldehyd die Eigenschaft haben, natürliche und künstliche Gerbstoffe und auch Sulfitablauge zu fällen lind daher ausgezeichnet alsGerbereihilfsmittel venvendbar sind. Wenn man nämlich mit einem der genannten Gerbstoffe hergestelltes Leder mit diesen Kondensationsprodukten nachbehandelt, wird der Gerbstoff im Leder gefällt und auf diese Weise so festgehalten, daß er -nicht mehr herausgewaschen werden kann.Process for fixing tanning agents in leather It has been found that soluble condensation products made from cyanamide or dicyandiamide with formaldehyde have the property of precipitating natural and artificial tanning agents and also sulphite waste liquor and are therefore outstandingly useful as tanning auxiliaries. B., wenn man 4o Teile Dicvandiamid in einer heißen Lösung von 25 Teilen Salzsäure (spez.
