z. B. Sulfonsäure- oder Carbonsäuregruppen, enthalten.Process for the preparation of monoazo dyes It has been found that valuable pigment dyes are obtained by using the amine diazo compounds of the general formula wherein Y denotes the group -C O- or -S 02-, R1 and R2 denote alkyl, aralkyl, aryl radicals or hydroaromatic radicals, which can also be connected to one another to form a heterocyclic ring system, and where the benzene radical a continues through Alkyl, alkoxy, aralkoxy, aryloxy groups or can be substituted by halogen, with aryl amides of 2-oxynaphthalene-3-carboxylic acid of the general formula couples, where Y denotes the group --CO- or -SO., -, R-3- and R @ denote -alkyl-, - aralkyl-, aryl radicals or hydroaromatic radicals, which can also be connected to one another to form a heterocyclic ring system , furthermore the naphthalene radical in b - still through an alkoxy group or through halogen, the benzene radical c through. Alkyl - alkoxy, aralkoxy, aryloxy groups or can be substituted by halogen, and wherein both dye components do not have water-solubilizing groups, e.g. B. sulfonic acid or carboxylic acid groups contain.
sehr gut in vielen organischen Lösungsmitteln, z. B. Kohlenwasserstolfen, Alkoholen,
vorzüglich-biauchbar.The new dyes color in orange to violet 'hairdryers, the
have good fastness properties. They are insoluble in water, but they dissolve
very good in many organic solvents, e.g. B. hydrocarbons, alcohols,
Esters, ketones, and - can therefore also be used to color these solvents as well as with them
manufactured paints such as nitro; or acetyl cellulose lacquers, films or plastics
be used. The products are also used to color oil varnishes, candles and fats
excellent-optional.
Beispiel i 15,7 Gewichtsteile i Amino-2-methoxybenzol-5-sulfotisäuredi-n-butylamid
Lösung von 2.1,2 Gev ichtsteilen i - (2', 3'- Oxynaphtlioylamino )-2 - metiioxybenzol
Beispiel e i.1,9 Gewichtsteile 1 Amino-2-niethylbenzol-5-sulfonsäuredi-n-butylamid
werden, wie üblich, dianotiert. Die mit Natriumacetat auf Congoneutralität abgestumpfte
Diazolösung rührt man in eine Lösung von 23,4. Gewichtsteilen 1-(2', 3'-Oxynaphthoylamino)-2-methylbenzol-5-sulfonsäuredi-n-butylamid
man nach Beispiel i erhält. Beispiel 3 Verwendet man im Beispiel i an Stelle von
15,7 Gewichtsteilen i-Amino-2-methoxybenzol-5-sulfonsäuredi-n-buty#lamid
9,6 Gewichtsteile i-Aminobenzol--j-carbonsäurediäthylamid, so erhält man
Fette, in gelbstichigroten Tönen färbt.
her.
Beispiel 5 Aus
Compared to the dyes known from patent 649 oro and from French patents 749926 and 8ro 699, the dyes obtainable according to the present process are distinguished by their considerably greater solubility in butyl acetate or benzene. They are also more suitable for dyeing nitrocellulose lacquers and stearin-paraffin mixtures than the known dyes. Example I 15.7 parts by weight of amino-2-methoxybenzene-5-sulfotic acid di-n-butylamide are dianotated in the usual way Sodium acetate is added to the diazo solution to bind the excess mineral acid and it is stirred into a solution of 2.1.2 parts by weight of i - (2 ', 3'-oxynaphthlioylamino) -2 - metiioxybenzene - 5-sulfo: isäu_edi-n-butylamide in When the coupling is complete, the resulting dye is filtered off, washed well and dried. It is a red powder that dissolves in acetone, ethyl alcohol and others Easily dissolves organic solvents and dyes cellulose ester lacquers in lively blue-tinged red shades with good fastness properties. Example e i.1.9 parts by weight of 1-amino-2-niethylbenzene-5-sulfonic acid di-n-butylamide are dianotated as usual. The diazo solution, truncated to congoneutrality with sodium acetate, is stirred into a solution of 23.4. Parts by weight of 1- (2 ', 3'-oxynaphthoylamino) -2-methylbenzene-5-sulfonic acid di-n-butylamide in dilute sodium hydroxide solution. The resulting dye is filtered off, washed well and dried. It is readily soluble in butyl acetate, ethyl acetate, butyl alcohol and other organic solvents and colors nitro and acetyl cellulose lacquers as well as oil lacquers in vivid red tones, which are much more yellowish than those obtained according to Example i. Example 3 If 9.6 parts by weight of i-aminobenzene-j-carboxylic acid diethylamide are used instead of 15.7 parts by weight of i-amino-2-methoxybenzene-5-sulfonic acid di-n-butylamide, a dye is obtained from similarly good fastness properties, which colors the various organic solvents and the varnishes produced with them, as well as candles and fats, in shades of yellow-tinged red. EXAMPLE The pigment dye is prepared in the manner described in Examples t and 2 from 17.3 parts by weight of i-amino-2-methoxybenzene-5-carboxylic acid dibenzylamide and 22.7 parts by weight of 1- (2 ', 3'-oxynaphthoylamino) benzene - ¢ -sulphonic acid di-n-butylamide. It dissolves easily in butyl acetate and xylene and colors oil varnishes as well as nitro or acetyl cellulose varnishes in red shades with good lightfastness. Example 5 From the diazo compound from 11.7 parts by weight of i-amino-2-methoxybenzene-5-carboxylic acid piperidide and 23. [parts by weight of 1- (2 ', 3'-oxynaphthoylamino) -2-methoxybenzene-5-carboxylic acid-Nn-butyl-N -phetiylamide is obtained in the manner described in Examples i and 2, a red dye which is readily soluble in organic solvents and dyes synthetic materials and varnishes produced with these, as well as candles and fats, in bluish-red shades of good lightfastness.
