Abstract

A configuration of an articulation (1) interconnecting a pair of contiguous panels of a mobile sectional door. The pair of panels include mutually facing widthwise extending edge cavities (4, 5) having front and rear appendices (22-25) delimiting the cavities and substantially blocking access to the cavities when the panels are connected by the articulation. The articulation includes a male element (2) connected inside one of the cavities and a female element (3) connected inside the other of the cavities. The male element is movable accommodated inside the female element for providing a relative pivoting movement between the panels about an axis extending substantially parallel to the widthwise extension of the edge cavities.
