Description
Process for the production of permanent bacterial preparations In the patent 695 046 a process for the production of permanent bacterial preparations has been described, which offers the possibility of introducing exactly weight-determinable amounts of bacteria into the sucrose serving as embedding substance in order to achieve an exact dosage, after the corresponding bacteria are first completely clarified Nutrient solutions have been grown with an optimal composition for their propagation.
The present invention brings about a further improvement of the method according to patent 695046, when the nutrient solutions suitable for cultivation in large industrial plants have been given a further refinement. There are nutrient solutions with the example listed in patent 695046. With regard to their clarification and sterilization, correspondingly preprocessed juices from those plants are added in which the bacteria to be grown can be found in the vicinity. For example, juices of the various types of cabbage, maize or legumes are produced in such a way that the plants in question are first chopped in a shredding machine and. then be squeezed out. These juices are added to the nutrient solutions after filtration and sterilization. Some examples of such additives are given below: I. 350 kg of crushed white cabbage are extracted in 650 liters of water at 50 ° C. for 3 hours, filtered under pressure, the juice centrifuged and pasteurized at 85 ° for ten minutes.
2. 3oo kg fein gehäckseltes Gras werden in 7o o 1 Wasser bei 50'C 3 Stunden extrahiert, unter Druck filtriert, der Saft zentrifugiert und jo Minuten bei 85' pasteurisiert.2. 300 kg of finely chopped grass are extracted in 70 o 1 water at 50 ° C. for 3 hours, filtered under pressure, the juice centrifuged and pasteurized for 5 minutes at 85 °.
85' -pasteurisiert.The effect on the growth of bacteria within the nutrient solutions can also be increased by adding those plant saps which contain components to be designated as growth substances, such as that of carrots, either alone or in a mixture with other plant saps to the nutrient solutions will. Below is an example. game for this addition: So kg of chopped yellow carrots and 250 kg of finely chopped grass are extracted in 700 liters of water at 50 ° C for 3 hours, filtered under pressure, the juice centrifuged and zo minutes. 85 ' pasteurized.
A starch-rich flour or ground lycopodium seeds can also be used as an embedding agent instead of the sucrose mentioned in Patent 695 046. These drying substances also give the preparation a water-soluble form. It has been shown that after about 30 minutes the preparation is completely suspended in water without the aid of mechanical grinding means. The present method is completely unlimited in terms of the bacteria to be processed. Lactic acid pathogens of various kinds, but also other bacteria, e.g. B. cellulose fermenter, further processing according to the method according to the invention: are processed.
While used in the process according to Mtent 695o46 nutrient solutions reaching the yield of, for example, Bacterium acidophilum zooo 1 nutrient solution is 1.8 kg, the yield increases from the same amount of nutrient reading when applying the method according to the invention to 8.2 kg.
