Abstract
The ejection system consists of an essentially straight duct section (4) situated above the main outlet duct (2), and nozzles (8) for injecting a drive gas into it from a gas generator (3). The nozzles are situated at some distance from the open end of the additional duct section, which is topped by a static or static/mechanical extractor (7). The distance between the nozzles and the open end of the additional duct section is equivalent to o.1-20 per cent of the length of the main duct, and preferably some 10 per cent, or about 1 m. The output of the nozzles is between 20-100 per cent of the nominal gas flow through the main duct, and has a flow rate of 10-100 m/s and especially 20-60 m/s.
