Description
Vorrichtung zum Verstellen der Walzen von Walzwerken in achsiger Richtung Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Vorrichtung zum Verstellen der Walzen von Walzwerken in achsiger Richtung mit Hilfe von zwangsläufig miteinander verbundenen und einander gegenüberliegenden beweglichen Druckstücken. Verstellvorrichtungen dieser Art sind in der Form bekannt, daß als Druckdaumen ausgebildete Druckstücke schwenkbar am Walzenständer befestigt sind. Die zwangsläufige Verbindung der Schwenkdaumen ist bei solchen Verstellvorrichtungen durch sich quer über das Einbaustück erstreckende Gewindespindeln, die durch undrehbare Muttern der Schwenkdaumen hindurchgeführt sind, hergestellt. Die Erfindung gestaltet diese bekannte Bauart in der Weise um, daß die Druckstücke (Schwenkdaumen) an dem Einbaustück so angeordnet sind, daß ihre Druckflächen sich an Gegenflächen des Walzenständers oder eines Walzenwechselrahmens abstützen. In dieser Neugestaltung liegt gegenüber der bekannten Verstellvorrichtung ein Vorteil darin, daß die Verbindungsmittel, die die zwangsläufige Verbindung zwischen den Druckdaumen herstellen, die lotrechten Anstellbewegungen der Walzen und der Einbaustücke mitmachen, so daß sie die Walzenanstellung nicht behindern können.
