Abstract

The procedure for handling pastry boats (1) comprises stages which consist in giving a row of boats (1A,1B,1C,1D) an arched shape so that the opposite faces of two neighbouring pastry boats are parallel and contiguous. The row is then taken hold of by its ends and a transverse clamping exerted on the boats. The row is then led above the packaging (C') and deposited by gravity into the packaging. The installation comprises a support plane (41,41') for the pastry boat row. The row is arched by means of a curved transfer part, located above the support, which is moved vertically to raise , support and arch the row. A pair of clamps grab hold of the row by its end and exert a transverse clamping.
