In einem Fernsehempfänger wird das Hauptchassis im allgemeinen so gelagert, daß es für Servicearbeiten um eine waagerechte Achse in verschiedene Stellungen schwenkbar ist. Für manche Arbeiten werden bei dieser Schwenkung die Bauteile nicht hinreichend zugänglich, so daß zu diesem Zweck das Chassis aus dem Gehäuse
herausgenommen werden und hinter dem Empfänger aufgestellt werden muß. Das Chassis kann nicht beliebig weit vom Gehäuse entfernt aufgestellt v/erden, weil es mit den übrigen im Gehäuse angeordneten Bauteilen, wie der Bildröhre, einem Drucktastensatz oder einer Bedienungsleiste, über Kabelbäume verbunden bleiben muß.In a television receiver, the main chassis is generally mounted so that it can be pivoted about a horizontal axis into various positions for service work.
