Description
Holders for small microphones So far, meeting microphones have been used for Airborne sound (i.e. not for body reverberation like the touch microphones known up to now) either placed in front of the speaker or by him or a second person in, : hand held. Or they were attached to the speaker itself by means of a hanging device appropriate.
The invention seeks to be more comfortable and at the same time acoustically more favorable. A clip can be attached to such microphones, if they are kept small, which can be pushed from the mouth opening over a cheek part immediately adjacent to the mouth or over the lip, so that: one clip leg is inside the mouth the other is outside, whereby the legs can be pressed against each other by a resilient connecting piece, a flexible screw or a similar device or can be changed with respect to the planes of their opposite position ... The microphone can. be inserted loosely or firmly in a bracket leg and optionally; e outside. of the mouth or in the oral cavity. If it is outside: the mouth, a structure similar to, for example, a small elongated shell or half-shell can be applied to the relevant one in order to convey the airborne sound leaving the mouth opening in a special way. Be attached clamp legs that the microphone completely or partially arched and at the same time can reach in front of the mouth opening in order to intercept a part of the speech stream emerging from the latter and convey it to the microphone. If the clamp leg with the microphone and the structure just described is inside the mouth, the latter can serve to protect the microphone from particularly loud noises and from contact with the teeth. - It can consist entirely or partially of sound-absorbing material (rubber). The clamp can consist, for example, of partly solid, partly flexible or resilient material, which can contain a guide for: the microphone line. Under certain circumstances, the glass microphone can also be arranged on the clamp leg in such a way that its membrane is directed towards the skin surface, so that it preferably picks up structure-borne sound.
