Sheet pile wall anchoring For sheet pile wall anchoring according to patent 661
968, the groove made on the sheet piles can be used except for the production of a
use movable anchor connection to the sheet pile wall with changeable
Form resistance by inserting not a T-shaped groove into the groove, but a
I-like shaped iron rod with the required length in cross-section
his: pushes a flange and lets it slide down to the desired depth.
In relation to the entire cross-section of the wall, the I-like iron bar exerts a
more favorable effect to reinforce the wall because one, lesser or if
the neutral axis of the I-shaped iron rod coincides with the wall axis, none
Shifting the neutral axis of the entire cross-section occurs and the connection
the anchor to the connecting iron is also made by pushing it in from above
can be.
In this way it is achieved that only the sheet piling iron has a length
must have equal to the entire bulwark height, while the I-like anchor connecting irons
only need to have a length equal to the distance on which the section modulus
the sheet piling iron is not sufficient.
In particularly stored cases, it may be useful to use the anchor connecting irons,
which are also reinforcement bars, at the height of the wall not in a length,
but to be arranged in two or more pieces and then the same or
to give different large moments of resistance. The anchor connection irons often need
also not to be arranged in every sheet pile, but in each one as required
second or third screed. In the drawing, the invention is shown for example.
In Abh. I, a are the randomly shaped planks and b are the two claws of the
non-positive groove into which the I-like shaped anchor connecting iron resp.
Reinforcement iron is inserted with its one flange. Fig. 2 represents schematically
represents the vertical section through a bulwark held at the head with an anchor,
where is the moment area of the earth pressure acting on the wall through the Wanda
and is limited by the curved line e. The moment is made in part by the
Spundwanda (= vertical Schraftur) and on the other part through the reinforcement iron
(= horizontal hatching) added. In Fig.3 the same bulwark is through one
Anchor held, which attacks a piece below the bulwark head. From the drawn
Moment surface can be seen that the reinforcement iron on two different
Stretches required to absorb the section modulus missing on sheet pile wall a
is.
