Baustutze.

Construction support.
Building supports consisting of an upper part which can be moved in a stand are known in various embodiments. The invention resides in a new embodiment of such props.
According to the invention, the fixed lower part is made of a simple U-iron, in the two legs of which a movable locking element in the form of a round bolt is provided, which is automatically triggered when the upper part is raised, but exerts its locking effect when it is lowered. The drawing shows some exemplary embodiments of the prop according to the invention. FIGS. 1 and 2 show two side views of one embodiment in two mutually perpendicular directions, FIG. 3 shows a corresponding cross section according to III-III in FIG. 1, FIG and 5 side views of a second embodiment and FIG. 6 the associated cross section according to IV-II with an indication of a third embodiment.
In a foot 1, which can have any shape, sits a U-shaped support lower part 2, which at its upper end has two sloping slits 5 in its side legs, in which a locking member formed from a round cross bolt 4 is slidably arranged. This bolt causes the retention of an also made of U-iron upper part 3, u. between the fact that the bolt can fall into the tooth gaps of the toothed legs of this upper part. A support plate 7 is provided at the upper end of the upper part.
If the upper part is pushed up, the transverse bolt is lifted away from the teeth of the upper part, which intersect with the slots 5, by rolling on the upper edge of a tooth to the end of the tooth, so that it can fall into the next lower tooth gap and hold the upper part. When lowering the upper part it is first raised, the cross bolt is brought to its highest position and then the upper part is raised to the desired position
EMI1.1
For the purpose of better guidance and greater stability of the upper part, claws 6, which grip around the outside of the lower part 2, can also be provided at its lower end. Instead of a U-shaped upper part with toothed legs, an upper part 3 consisting of T-iron could also be used, in which case only the web of the T-iron is toothed, as FIGS. 4, 5, 6 show.
The upper part 3 can either slide directly on the inner surface of the web of the lower part or a T-iron 8 can also be fastened in the lower part so that the flange of the T-iron 3 can slide on the transverse part of the part 8, one on the Claw 6 arranged at the lower end of the flange of the T-iron 3 as an additional guide member engages around the crossbar of the T-iron 8 on the outside.
