Device for pre-drying the fuel fed to a fuel mill
Grist In order to dry the grist fed to a mill, it is known to use hot
To conduct gases in countercurrent through the grist, which is permeable by means of a gas
Conveyor device is fed to the mill. This results in good drying
caused, however, the heat-carrying gases are after their passage through the grist
Discharged into the open, so that the amounts of heat contained in them are not fully utilized
can be. The management of the heat-carrying gases in countercurrent to the grist
is therefore particularly in the case of fuel dust firing systems, in particular mill firing systems,
from. Disadvantage as the gases are not in the mill as carrier and classifier air as well
can be introduced into the furnace as combustion air. Although it is at
Dust fires are known to heat the fuel before it enters the mill
To dry the gases through a fan wheel attached to the mill shaft
the coal, which is resting in a gas-permeable container, is sucked through
enter the mill together with the coal. But here the coal is the greatest
If the part is exposed to the hot gases at rest, then the duration of the action is
of the gases on the coal and thus also the drying is relatively low. at
Such furnaces are often chain conveyors as feed devices for the mills
used, the upper conveyor belt runs in part over a plate, so that the material to be conveyed
after a certain conveying path to the lower one running in the opposite direction
Conveyor belt falls, from where it enters the chute leading to the mills. Besides
the loading point of the conveyor grate for dosing and setting or changing the
Layer height a slider is attached, so is a. certain way of the good in horizontal
Direction required so that the property is not under the influence of the angle of repose
falls through the conveyor chain, while the path of the goods on the lower opposite
moving conveyor belt depends on the arrangement of the chute leading to the mill. One
Supply of special dry gases has not yet been provided for.
The invention is based on the knowledge that when using such
Chain conveyor a particularly effective pre-drying of the ground material can be achieved
can if. in addition to the loading point of the conveyor device, a supply of heat-carrying
Gases is arranged. The hot gases flow through in the conveying direction
.the grist, the
while falling through the conveyor
as a result of the associated change of direction and the occurring here
Redeployment comes into particularly close contact with the hot gas stream
which the coal falls through on its way from the Fdx @ dervorrichtung to the mill.
In spite of the fact that the hot gases are in direct current with the ground material, the result is
the long exposure time of the drying gases on the ground material an effective pre-drying
achieved, which has a favorable effect on the warning, because of clusters
Too much moisture in the grist should be avoided. In addition, the invention
the advantage that the hot gases enter the mill with the coal and co-exist
with the coal dust .through the classifier chamber into the combustion chamber, the
in this way, the combustion air is supplied at the same time as the fuel dust
will. This makes good use of the heat-carrying gases, in particular
the hot air, the amount of heat contained and also an improvement in the combustion process
achieved, which already has a favorable effect due to the good pre-drying of the fuel
will. The dust particles carried away by the hot gases also get there
through the mill and into the furnace; so that also these for combustion
be fully exploited. This can increase the pre-drying of the fuel
be that an additional warm air supply to the shaft leading to the mill
is connected.
An embodiment of the invention is shown in section in the drawing
.shown. The amount of fuel removed from the bunker i, e.g. B. raw lignite,
falls on a Tfog 2 arranged in a closed container and is hit by
a horizontally conveying endless chain conveyor 3 to the discharge end of the trough
2 supplied. Immediately next to the loading point of the conveyor 3 is
a nozzle q. provided for the supply of warm air, which the spread
Brushed on fuel and pre-dried in the process. At the discharge end of the trough 2 the falls
Fuel on the lower counter moving links of the chain conveyor
3, whereby the fuel is rearranged so that it has not yet dried
Fuel particles come to the surface and are exposed to the hot air.
The fuel then enters the beater mill 6 extending over the entire width
Shaft 5, in which it is together with the warm air flowing in the same direction
falls down into the beater mill 6. This acts as a result of the confluence
of the shaft 5 resulting negative pressure sucking on the gas flow and the supplied
Fuel, atomizes it and, together with the warm air, guides it into the combustion chamber
7 to. The duct 5 can be supplied with more warm air through the nozzle F,
in order to achieve the most complete possible pre-drying of the fuel. The amount
the supplied warm air can be adjusted by means of the control flaps g, i o.
