Elektrischer Schalter mit Lichtbogenlöschung durch strömendes Druckgas Die Erfindung betrifft einen elektrischen Schalter mit Lichtbogenlöschung durch strömendes Druckgäs, bei welchem sich der Lichtbogen in einem Raum schwachen Druckes in der geradlinigen Achse des Blasstromes und in Richtung dieses Blasstromes verlängert. Die gleiche Wirkung ist auch nicht erreichbar bei solchen I?inrichtungen, bei denen sich die Kontaktflächen in dem divergierenden Teil einer Düsenöffnung befinden. Eine wirksame konzentrische Anblasung des Lichtbogens außerhalb der Kammeröffnung neben der Abfegung der Kontaktflächen kann nur erreicht werden, wenn sich gemäß der Erfindung bei geradliniger Achsrichtung die Kontaktfläche der festen Elektrode im Innern der den. Querschnitt des Blasstromes verengenden, konvergierenden Wandungen in passender Tiefe befindet, d. h. um-so tiefer, je flacher der Winkel der 'Vandungen ist. Es kommt für die Wirkung der Erfindung darauf an, daß der zusammengezogene Blasstrom eine Frischlufthülle möglichst großer Stärke um den an dem festen Kontakt haftenden Lichtbogen legt, also eine möglichst wirksame Isolierschicht zwischen dem Kontakt nebst Lichtbogen und den verdrängten ionisierten Gasen. Bei einer bekannten Anordnung mit sehr flach konvergierenden Wandungen liegt der feste Kontakt außerhalb der Mündung dieser Wandungen: infolgedessen kann bei dieser Anordnung kein ausreichendes Luftpolster um den festen Kontakt und den anhaftenden Lichtbogen herum entstehen, zumal der Luftstrom an der Stelle, wo sich der Kontakt befindet, schon eine stark divergierende Form annimmt.There are known pressure gas switches in which the fixed electrode into the interior of a shell with converging walls through which the blow stream flows extends.
