Description

Rapid bonding process for the production of cement-bonded wood wool lightweight panels It is known that lightweight panels by bringing together .. cement and wood wool and pressing this mixture. In the manufacture of such panels Adhesive agents must be added to the mixture, as cement alone does not adhere to the wood chips sticks, but crumbles as it dries. So far, water glass has been used as the adhesive and calcium chloride are used. However, these adhesives have certain disadvantages. Water glass is relatively expensive and plates made with calcium chloride become acidic and attack iron parts. However, the main disadvantage of this method is that that the pressed panels must remain in the shell molds for about 36 hours, until the mass is completely set. On the other hand, it has been known for a long time is to accelerate the setting of cement by adding soda, one also has in the manufacture of lightweight panels tries to shorten the setting time by using soda. However, these attempts have failed because the addition of soda reduces the effect of the Adhesive was picked up and the panels fell apart while demoulding.

It has now been found that there are also adhesives that, in spite of the Soda addition does not lose its effect. These are waste materials that incurred in the production of tartaric acid and which essentially consists of gypsum and dead yeast cells exist.

According to the procedure, work is carried out in such a way that the wood wool is removed before mixing is briefly brought into a slurry of waste materials above with cement. The adhesion is just as good in this method as in the known methods with water glass and calcium chloride. If you add soda to the cement mass, it becomes Setting accelerated so that the finished panels sheared. off after 8 minutes % can be removed from the bowls. This means a tremendous gain in time, because, as already stated, the plates so far 34 hours in the Shells had to remain. At the same time, this gain in time brings great savings in shell material and in space with itself.

Embodiment i For a 1/2 cm thick lightweight board with a standard size of 50 x zoo cm you need: 3kg wood wool, q.kg cement, 71 of a 2.5 % waste slurry and 700.00 Nag C 03 anhydrous. The loose wood wool is soaked with the z, 5olig waste material slurry, allowed to drain and mixed with the specified amount of cement. The calcined soda is then incorporated. The mass is placed in a neck of the appropriate size, briefly pressed; After 8 minutes, the setting is complete and the finished panel can be removed. Embodiment 2 The procedure is the same as in example i, qh without the addition of soda. The setting # reg, # V, takes 24 to 36 hours. Opposite 25 This example gives the advantage of being cheaper and of making plates that do not go sour.
