Description
Gate drives for the production of a weatherproof and volume-resistant, acid-free cement-concrete mass with wood flour as filling material. It is known that until now it has only been possible to combine wood flour into a solid mass by using magnesite and carbon dioxide, but this had the disadvantage that it was not volume stable and acid-free and could therefore only be used to a limited extent.
Attempts have also been made to combine wood flour with Portland cement to form a solid concrete mass, but experience has shown that such concrete masses change the volume with added moisture, in that the wood flour begins to work, swells and causes cracks to form in the concrete .
All of these deficiencies are eliminated by the method of the present invention, according to which a weatherproof and volume-resistant, acid-free cement-concrete mass is produced with wood flour as the filler material. The process can be carried out as follows, for example: The wood flour to be used is intimately mixed and rubbed in by means of a fatty lime hydrate before being mixed with Portland cement, which prevents the wood flour from working and swelling in the moist concrete mass and the same remains volume-stable.
The wood flour prepared in this way is then mixed dry with the Portland cement, which is used as a binding agent, and moistened accordingly with pure water, creating a weatherproof, volume-resistant, acid-free cement-concrete mass that is used for a wide variety of building purposes and, for example, by Pounding can be shaped. This cement-concrete mass is acid-free because it is composed of completely acid-free materials.
Thanks to the prepared wood flour and the properties of Portland cement, this cement-concrete mass is also weather-resistant.
