Description

Production of mesh sleeves It is already known in the production of moldings from hydraulically solidifying masses. To use glass whereby a smooth, pore-free surface is achieved.

In the manufacture of narrowing at the top and at the same time with protrusions provided vessels, for example bottles or bottle jackets, one would have use known two-part glass molds in such a method can. In such work, the z. B. to be coated with Sorel cement Glass bottle inserted into the two-part glass mold and the one between the bottle and The cavity remaining in the glass mold is then filled by pouring. At work in this way: it has been found that although along the wall of the glass mold halves the desired reflective smooth surface of the stone wood casing is achieved. At the points where the two halves meet. touch the glass mold, forms on the other hand, an unsightly burr is regularly found. This burr must be ground off, where then at the grinding point the porous structure of the stone wood or the other solidifying masses come to light. The bottles thus obtained are therefore not yet fully satisfactory, especially because moisture from the seams into the porous stone wood or the like is drawn in, causing the casings to become unsightly; to a destruction of the stone wood, crumbling next to the seam as well as bad smell as a result of decomposition of the liquid that has been sucked in leads.

According to the invention, these disadvantages are avoided in that the Applying a sheathing made of stone wood or the like Vacuum flasks .the stone wood mass in the one-piece between the vacuum flask and a thin-walled one Glass mold located annular cavity: poured wind, whereupon the glass mold after this. Solidification of the marrow: smashed and sheathed with stone wood Vacuum flask is removed. When manufacturing the one-piece glass mold from thin-walled Glass is worked in the usual way in the manufacture of bottles, that a glass bulb is blown into a two-part metal mold. The one made in this way The shape of the glass also shows on its outside: an imprint of the one between the two Halves of the metal mold located joint. On the inside 'of the one-piece glass mold however, this seam is largely balanced when the glass shape is blown, so that they are on the finished stone wood shell, which is made with the help of the no-part glass shape is completed, can only be seen on closer inspection. Above all. is this barely visible seam on the. finished jacketed vacuum flask though provided with a continuous reflective surface also at the joint.
