The invention relates to a filling device, preferably one with a return and pre-air chamber separated from the liquid space. It is known to install an automatically closing valve in the form of a float in the return air line, which closes the return air path when the liquid rises in the return air line after the vessels have been filled and thus prevents the further rise of liquid in this line. - Such shut-off bodies have to work extremely sensitively, since the available buoyancy is only very small. In particular, it can happen that the shut-off body remains in its closed position due to the effect of the adhesive force, so that the path of the return air remains blocked and the vessels cannot be filled.
The invention avoids the disadvantages mentioned and consists in
that the space that serves to accommodate the closure body, in the zero position of the
Filling tap connected briefly to the tensioning air line or another pressure line
will. The shut-off body is definitely in his due to the incoming pressurized gas
brought an opening position. According to the further invention, the shut-off of the return air line takes place
not held by the float itself, but by one provided on it
fine pin, which is against a correspondingly designed seat of small extent
seals. Given the small seating area, the small amount of buoyancy is sufficient
in order to achieve a sufficient seal.

In the drawing, an embodiment of the invention is shown, namely Fig. I shows a vertical * section through a filling valve and Figs. 2 and 3 vertical sections through the filling valve according to line II-II of Fig. I with different positions of the cock . io is the connection part of the filling container to which the housing ii of the filling valve is attached connects. 12 is the from the filling container to

Bobxung16 to the filling pipe17. The bottle
is denoted by 18. The tensioning air reaches the inside of the bottle through a bore ig and the annular space between the filling pipe 1 7 and the centering cone 2o. When the liquid flows in, the air is displaced from the bottle and passes through the channel and the bore -92 into a room23, from which the return air flows through a bore -.4, 25 into the open air or into a container. The cock plug 13 is now provided with an Ntit 26 which, in the zero position, connects the space 23 to the pre-air line via a line 27. When the stopcock 1 3 is switched to the filling position (Fig. 3) , this connection is interrupted again. In the housing 23 there is a float 28 which is provided with a pointed needle 129 at the upper end and which is guided through a pin 30 at the lower end. The tapered Nadel29 seals against a correspondingly shaped valve surface from small extent, so that already were less buoyancy is sufficient to close off the Rückluftleitung24 as soon as the liquid in the RückluftleitUng21, 22 rises. Instead of a gaseous pressure medium, a mechanical device could also be provided which, when the filling valve is in the zero position, influences the float valve in the return air line in the direction of opening.
