Wickel in sog.
Cigar wrap mold The invention relates to molds for making
of cigar wraps. As is well known. are located in the majority of the cigar wrap shapes
at the end of the troughs for receiving the winding openings through which the ends of the
Coils protrude in so-called suppositories over the end faces of the form. The cigar maker
wont to attack at these ends and turn the coils; then these
Ends lengthways with the second pressing. the end face of the mold is repelled or cut off.
It is desirable to have the sharpest possible edges at these points in order to create a
to achieve smooth separation of these suppository ends. Are these edges blunt and
round, there is a risk that the uvula will not be damaged during the pushing or cutting process
be separated immediately, but a train on the individual ribs or leaf parts
is exercised. If that is the case, the deposits can easily be pulled out of the
Bobbin out, and the inside of the bobbin itself will be damaged. Particularly
there is a risk when it comes to short insert tobacco. The so far
Usual wooden forms work very quickly on these edges, so that
Difficulties in rejecting the uvula arise after only a short period of use.
This disadvantage is particularly noticeable when the shape is designed to save weight.
is made of lighter types of wood.
The idea of creating sharp edges on the face of the
To screw on a metal plate, in which the ends of the uvula correspond to the shape
There are incisions has not yet appeared in practice. Offenbiar
there is an inhibition with the cigar manufacturers, with the cigar manufacture there is an inhibition

one also believes that, as a result of the work of the wood, a perfect fastening
an iron plate on the wooden body is not possible and that between wood
and iron plate would form a gap; which soon becomes polluted and yet to others
Inconvenience. Ultimately, the application of such metal plates will also be used
failed because of the price issue, because when they are used, the openings

Derartige gespritzte
Metallaufträge verwendet man z.
In contrast, the invention now consists in that one the end faces.
the wooden cigar roll form with a layer of sprayed-on metal
provides: that sharp edges are formed at the openings in the troughs. In particular
a layer of steel can be sprayed onto the face of the mold. Such injected
Metal orders are used z. B. to make wooden models more durable and fireproof
to make, -for steeling light metal pistons, etc .: Any sewing work should be done
generally not be necessary in the production method according to the invention,
rather, the shape can be carried out according to the invention in an additional operation.
The metal coating absolutely adheres securely to the wood, and it has been shown that
even then he does not peel off; when the wood is working. Any gap between
Metal and wood, which could give rise to destruction, are therefore not created.
The amount of metal applied is relatively small, so that. the weight of the
Forms is increased only insignificantly, yes the forms according to the invention are even
lighter than such forms; which are made of hardwood to prevent the
To delay uvula edges. Finally it should be mentioned that, from the psychological point of view
seen from: the invention has the advantage that the cigar maker has such shapes
likes to use it because he: does not see the metal coating as a foreign body.
The invention is shown in the drawing in an exemplary embodiment.
The winding form a made of any wood, especially light wood,
is provided with an order b and c of spray metal on each of its end faces.
This order can be used in any strength. There are limits to him
by the permissible weight: the shape. However, a relatively thin one is sufficient
Layer of metal to create a sharp and resistant edge to cut off: the
to reach protruding tobacco suppositories.
