Description
Process for the production of organic fertilizers from fruit residues The invention relates to a method for producing organic fertilizers from Plant residues such as those obtained during the extraction. B. apple scraps, lemon and orange peel, beet pulp and the like.
The method of the present invention is to have these Oil-containing substances first with a short, gentle treatment with hot Water or steam hydrolyzed and the mass then left to rot.
It is already known per se, organic substances, including those containing cellulose Plant tissue, such as straw and similar raw materials, rot in such a way that man nutrients for the rotting bacteria add to the starting material; tzt. . Usually salts containing nitrogen, phosphorus or potassium are used for this purpose. This The rotting process then lasts for many weeks, often months, depending on how the raw materials are procured. Straw, sawdust and similar raw materials, especially also the residues from the plant extraction, such as apple pomace and the like lignified or scleroidal tissues are difficult to decompose because the rotting bacteria need a very long time because of the high level of ligning, to attack and decompose the cellulose structure.
The method of the invention is based on the knowledge that the rotting bacteria Disrupted cellulose attack much more quickly than non-disrupted cellulose. Plant remains, the beforehand by brief, gentle treatment with hot water, steam: o. like. a have undergone certain hydrolysis, are removed by the rotting bacteria after just a few days attacked, and the rotting then takes place much faster than with not disrupted plant tissues.
When using plant residues that, like the starting materials of the present invention, resulting from extractions, @es are sufficient if the mass is cooked because the living plant already has a cell wall that not too i oo olo from celluloses, but mostly from hemi-celluloses and P @ ent @ osarnen exists.
The digestion of such a plant material is therefore essential lighter and more economical. It would be nonsensical to give this easy explanation would carry out with such large and powerful means as the known exposure of brown coal, peat or straw. Therefore the method of the invention is essential more economical, easier and more effective. There was no telling which one The consequences of a digestion with such crude methods as would be the case with lignite, peat or Use straw, as it may even be the opposite of what is desired Success could be achieved because of acid treatment under pressure from plant residues no sugar, but charred substance! en # can be held. Embodiment Dried fruit presses (pomace) are treated with hot water for 1/2 hour b,; -, until the structure is completely soft and pliable. The mass is then squeezed out, and then additions of nitrogen, phosphoric acid and lime, e.g. B. o, z5o / o Nitrogen in the form of potash or sodium nitrate, as much phosphoric acid in the form von Thomasmehl and i o / o Kalk in i @ rm von Kreide. To accelerate the eradication if you mix some compost made from garden leaves) - add, thereby a vaccination takes place with rotting bacteria. The rotting is in full swing after 8 to 10 days and possibly completely finished after about 14 days. Condition for this is that there is sufficient oxygen in the rotting pile and that the outside temperature is not less than 15 '.
The rotting by the method of the invention with previous mild Digestion of the cellulose of the fruit pomace @o. Like. With hot water or steam is of far-reaching importance, since when there is a need for fertilizers, the Completion of the fertilizer within a few days or at most: a few weeks is finished. In addition, however, the process of the invention is more economical Significance because of the reduction in investment costs.
Furthermore, the method of the invention is particularly economical Importance for the processing of material residues such as plant pomace and similar, as it converts them into a high-quality fertilizer in a very short time, while these residues were previously difficult to process and represent a very cheap secondary product for fruit processing. It works like this fruit pomace, which is an annoying, difficult-to-remove waste product to be converted into high-quality organic fertilizers in a short time.
