The present invention relates to wire shears.

The attached drawing shows:

5 shows a modification of the cutting inserts and

The. Shears shown consists of the lever A, which in its head part A ^{1 has} a recess α and a hook-shaped beak a? owns. The purpose of the recess a is to allow the wire caught by the lower part of the hook a ² to pass through to the cutting point.

In the circular cavity of the head part A ¹ , the snap lever D is attached, which is pressed by the wire by means of a tension spring d, thus preventing it from falling out or sliding back before the wire is cut.

In its head part B ^{i, the} second lever B also has a recess b opening out at the edge, which is also intended to allow the wire to enter up to the cutting point. The imaginary recesses can be arranged forwards or sideways (see FIG. 6) or in any number.

The actual cutting knives are attached to the recesses α and b labeled a ¹ and b ^l , but can also, as their modification shown in FIG. 5, be arranged so that they can be turned.

The two levers A and B are rotatable in one another and connected by screws by means of a cover plate C, FIG. 2. This cover plate can, however, also be omitted in the case of a corresponding construction, as FIG. 4 shows.

The scissor levers can by the bolt i? be connected, or grooves b ² can be attached to the edges of the lever head B ¹ , into which the screw ends b ^{3 that are} let through the wall of the lever head A * protrude for better guidance (Fig. 4).

The two levers A and B are tensioned against each other by means of a spiral spring F; but the same purpose is also served by a tension spring attached to the head part of the scissors.
