Diejenige Amidonaphtolsulfosäure, welche aus der Dioxynaphtalinsulfosäure des Patentes No. 57114 durch Erhitzen mit Ammoniak entsteht, giebt mit gewissen Diazoverbindungen werthvolle Farbstoffe.That amidonaphthol sulfonic acid, which is derived from the dioxynaphthalene sulfonic acid of the patent No. 57114 is formed by heating with ammonia, gives with certain diazo compounds valuable dyes.
Von besonderer Bedeutung ist derjenige Farbstoff, welcher durch Einwirkung der Tetrazo-•verbindung des p-Amidobenzolazo-ct-naphtylamins auf diese Amidonaphtolsulfosäure entsteht. Das ρ -Amidobenzolazo - α - naphtylamin läfst sich zweimal diazotiren und bildet dann mit 2 Molecülen eines Amins, Phenols etc. bezw. deren Sulfosäuren Trisazofarbstoffe, welche Baumwolle ohne Beize anfärben. Solche Trisazofarbstoffe sind bis jetzt nur durch das Patent No. 40740 bekannt geworden. Die daselbst beschriebenen Farbstoffe sind jedoch wenig werthvoll und sind des schwierig zu beschaffenden ρ - Diamidoazobenzols wegen zu theuer; auch haben die Farbstoffe wenig Verwandtschaft zur vegetabilischen Faser.Of particular importance is that dye which is produced by the action of the tetrazo compound of p-amidobenzolazo-ct-naphthylamine on this amidonaphthol sulfonic acid arises. Der aus der Tetrazoverbindung des p-Amidobenzolazo-a-naphtylamins und 2 Molecülen der neuen Amidonaphtolsulfosäure dargestellte Trisazofarbstoff besitzt aufserdem gegenüber den Farbstoffen des Patentes No. 40740 die sehr werthvolle Eigenschaft, dafs. er sich auf der Faser abermals diazotiren und mit Aminen, Phenolen etc. zu neuen Farbstoffen combiniren läfst, so dafs auf diese Weise neue Farbentöne entstehen.
