Der Untertheil A ist mit einem Zuleitungsstutzen α und einer nach innen gerichteten,
düsenförmig ausgebildeten centralen Ableitung b ausgestattet und durch eine vom Obertheil B
gehaltene Membran c geschlossen, hinter welcher eine unter Federdruck stehende Platte d
angeordnet ist. Die den Gegendruck ausübende Feder f wird durch eine das Federgehäuse

die verhältnifsmäfsig grofse Ringflüche der Membran wirkend, ein Sichfestsetzen der Membran

Federdruck stehende -Membran (c) geschlossen gehalten wird, deren, dem Gasdruck ausgesetzte
Ringfläche gegenüber dem Querschnitt der Ausströmungsöffnung verhältnifsmäfsig grofs
gehalten ist, zum Zweck, jederzeit einen dichten Abschlufs der Austrittsöffnung zu ermöglichen,
aber auch beim Ueberschreiten des zulassigen Gasdruckes ein plötzliches Oeffnert des Auslasses
zu bewirken.
