PATENTAMT. V%PATENT OFFICE. V%
The present invention relates to a new street pavement made of cement-concrete blocks, which is essentially distinguished from the previously known plasters by the fact that the individual Stein only has to bear part of the load rolling over it, as it is because of its peculiarity Form transfers part of it to the neighboring stone.
Auf der beiliegenden Zeichnung zeigt:The attached drawing shows:

E-F der Fig. 2,Fig. 3 is a section in the width direction of the plaster along line CD of Fig. 4 respectively. EF of Fig. 2,

The pavement is composed of individual prismatic cement-concrete blocks a, each with two parallel inclined side surfaces and provided with two truncated edges, on a correspondingly prepared substrate in such a way that the transverse joints b pass through, while the longitudinal joints c to achieve a bond are offset from each other. The individual joints are properly filled with asphalt or some other binding material, but in such a way that the wider transverse joints formed by the blunted edges remain partially open to allow the water to run off down the gutter and to allow the horses' hooves a secure hold on the pavement to grant.
