Denn längs der Walzenschlitze wären die zwischen den Löchern, stehenbleibenden Weichgummistege ohne feste Unterlage und könnten beim Pressen eingedrückt werden, so. daß die Decke Not leiden würde und nicht haltbar wäre. Durch die harte Gummiunterlage wird aber zwischen den Stäben eine Art Brücke aus hartem Gummi gebildet, welche die Weichgummiteile versteift und gegen den Pressendruck abstützt.
