Binocular observation instrument for stereophotogrammetric measuring devices
The invention relates to a device intended for stereophotographic measuring devices
binocular observation instrument from which the mutual position remains unchanged
of its two eyepieces in each half a system of mirrors in the direction of the
Eye position line is slidably arranged so that all of the shift
participating mirror in each of two different positions in the figure
one of two stereoscopic fields of an object are involved, whereby
to the observer in one position a profoundly correct and in the other position
a deeply inverted spatial image is presented.
In order to prevent that with such an observation instrument
the displacement of the mirror systems from one position to the other along the length
the beam path in the convergent beam path experiences a change, according to the
Invention of the sliding mirror system of each instrument half a lens system
upstream, which takes part in the displacement of the associated mirror system
and its focal length equal to the distance measured along the optical axis
its rear principal point is from the image plane of the associated eyepiece.

Beobachtungsinstrumentes befestigt, deren Bildebenen 4. urld 5 zusammenfallen. Zwei
dienen, die Verschiebung der Platten i i d 13 in zwei verschiedenen Stellungen derlben
The two eyepieces z and 3 of the binocular observation instrument, whose image planes 4 and 5 coincide, are attached to a base plate i. Two spindles 6 and 7 are mounted on the base plate i in such a way that their axes cross the axes of the eyepieces 2 and 3 perpendicularly. The spindle 7 can be rotated about its axis by means of a drive knob 8. This spindle contains ete right-hand thread 9 and a left-hand thread, A plate ii engages by means of a MuttG @ -. piece i2 into the right-hand thread 9 of Sa, v del 7, while a plate 13 engages by means of a nut piece 14 in the left-hand thread io of the spindle 7. The plates ii and 13 are guided along the spindle 6. The plate ii on the one hand carries a Lens IS, the axis of which is parallel to the axes of the spindles 6 and 7 and lies in the plane determined by the axes of the eyepieces 2 and 3, and on the other hand three prisms 16, 17 and 18, which each around the axis of the lens 15 within this plane Deflect 90 ° so that it emerges from the prism 18 parallel to the axes of the eyepieces 2 and 3. The focal length of the lens 15 is dimensioned such that it is equal to the distance of its rear main point H from the image planes 4 measured along the optical axis and 5 of the eyepieces 2 and 3, ie equal to the sum of the distances indicated by a, b, c and d in Fig. 1. Accordingly, the plate 13 carries a lens i9, the axis of which coincides with that of the lens i5, and three prisms 2o, 2i and 22 which are the axis of the Lin Divert se i9 within that plane by 90 ° each so that it emerges from the prism 22 parallel to the axes of the eyepieces 2 and 3. The focal length of lens ig is equal to that of lens 15. Correspondingly, the distance, measured along the optical axis and composed of the distances ä , b ', c' and d ' , of the rear principal point H' of lens i9 from the image planes 4 and z 5 of the eyepieces and 3 equal to the measured along the optical axis distance between the rear principal point H of the lens 1 5 of these image planes 4 and 5. on the spindle 7 are stop rings 23, mounted 24 and 25 which serve to shift the plates iid 13 to lock in two different positions. Fig. 1 shows the marginal position of the plates 13 and 13, in which the rays coming from the lens 15 are fed to the eyepiece: 2 and the rays coming from the lens 19 are fed to the eyepiece 3. In the other limit position of the plates ii and 13, which is illustrated by FIG. 2, the rays coming from the lens 15 are fed to the eyepiece 3 and the rays coming from the lens 19 are fed to the eyepiece 2.
