Walzgerüste möglichst nahe, nämlich nur etwa in a m Entfernung voneinander aufgestellt
Motor in 1/1o Sek.
Electric direct current multi-motor drive with synchronous and additional,
Control devices dependent on the armature current, especially for continuous rolling mills
For continuously operated machines with adjustable speed, in particular
for rolling mills, nowadays one usually chooses individual drive of the rolling stands by DC motors,
as this offers many advantages compared to the common drive via gears
or the like. Is it a cold rolling mill, where a certain train on the
Rolled stock can be admitted, so will the correct speed ratio
of the individual rolling motors achieved in the simplest way by compounding the motors.
In the case of goods rolling mills, on the other hand, this method can usually not be used, especially
then not if the material is very thin, e.g. B. wire or band iron, acts,
that cannot take any train. For such rolling mills, especially if they are high
So far, attempts have been made to work at speed, similar to paper machines
so-called synchronous gears to apply, which have a predetermined speed ratio
rigid between the individual rolling motors and thus also between the rolling stands
should adhere to. In rolling mills that move the material at a very high speed
process, are the times that are used to compensate for speed differences between neighboring
Drive motors are available too short to timely provide the correct speed ratio
to restore after a previous fault. This is also explainable, though
one survives that speeds of 20 m / sec. and more occur and the individual
Roll stands as close as possible, namely only about a m away from each other
are, so that when the speed ratio of neighboring motors changes, the following
Motor must have completed the correction within 1 / 10th of a second. As a result, the rolling stock becomes
after passing through the first stand, the speed in the next one is too high,
and a strain occurs which must be avoided at all costs.
entgegenarbeiten. There are also known electrical synchronous multi-motor drives,
in the case of dents, the sub-motors are not only due to synchronization devices but also to additional ones
Control devices depending on the armature current of the previous one in the operation
or subsequent sub-motors can be controlled. Apart from the fact that with the additional regulation
of a partial motor caused a strain by the armature current of the motor following in the operation
of the rolling stock at its entry into the still at its idle speed, that is
running at a higher speed than the already loaded previous scaffold
the following
Roll stand occurs, is in these known devices
the additional regulation of a motor depending on the size of the load
maintain the influencing motor as long as this load continues,
and as a result, the additional regulation must be continuously regulated by the synchronizing devices
counteract.
The invention aims to avoid this disadvantage. According to the invention
are in the case of an electric direct current multi-motor drive, its sub-motors
by synchronizing devices and by additional control devices depending on
are controlled by the armature current of the preceding sub-motors in the operation by
Armature circuit of these sub-motors with the exception of the last sub-motor transformers
switched on, their secondary windings in the event of a load change or a change in armature current
the field windings of the subsequent motors in the work step an additional one
give temporary shock excitation. The additional control device after the
Invention is not dependent on the size of the load, -as this with the known
Facilities is the case, but depends on the change in load, and
is also only effective as long as a change in the load on one sub-motor
going on. As well as the load of one part of the engine remains constant, it doesn't matter
how great this load is, the other sub-motor is influenced by
the additional control device is not brought about. The additional regulation needs
So not .to work against the regulation by .the synchronizing device all the time,
but it is only superimposed on this regulation as long as there is a change in the
Load is going on while the speed differences are a result of various
Continuous load undisturbed by the additional control device by the synchronizing device
be adjusted. An exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing.
Every motor en, and nag is provided with a small additional transformer tl or t2,
whose primary winding is traversed by the armature of this motor. The secondary winding
is connected in series with the field winding of the following motor. Motor sta2 and
m3 are also provided with synchronizing devices that are controlled by the master generator L.
are synchronized with in. If the rolling stock now enters stand Z, it grows
Current of the motor in, from the idling value to any load value. These
The change in current is transmitted to the field winding via the secondary winding of the transformer t1
of the engine "nag is transmitted abruptly and gives 13t2 a temporary drop in speed.
The same process takes place at the moment when the rolling stock enters stand 2,
by influencing motor ins by t2 etc. To accelerate the effect of the shock excitation,
you can still switch on high-speed exciter resistors in the field circuit of the motors.
The shock excitation can be regulated in the simplest way by means of controllable resistors
or choke coils.
