Drive for the needle bar belt oscillation in zigzag sewing machines
In zigzag sewing machines it is already known that when the drive is switched off
for the needle bar transverse oscillation on the oscillating movement on the needle bar bearing
transferring handlebar is automatically set on the sewing machine housing and thus
<read the needle rod bearing secures against lateral movement. This is where the definition takes place
of the handlebar and thus the needle bar bearing automatically as soon as the influence of the
Drive rocker arm on the handlebar by shifting the swing width adjusting means
is canceled in the zero position. The invention relates to a further development
of the thought, the needle bar when switching off the oscillating drive against the side
To secure movement automatically. It differs from the known arrangement
essentially in that the automatic setting of the needle bar bearing on
Sewing machine housing without adjustment of the amplitude adjustment means takes place by
the influence of the drive rocker on the needle bar in a different way
will be annulled. This has the advantage over the known arrangement that when
Switching on the vibratory drive and the associated automatic
Removal of the fixed position of the needle bar bearing the previously set needle bar swing amplitude
becomes effective again immediately without readjustment of the amplification adjustment means.
gegen seitliche Bewegung sichert.According to the invention this is achieved in that the usual, the N
Adelstangenlager containing swing frame consists of two parts, which by a
guided in a slot in the sewing machine housing and at right angles to the direction of oscillation
of the swing frame movable bolts can be coupled and uncoupled. Of the
both parts of the swing frame is one through the usual handlebar with the
Drive rocker arm in a permanent connection, while the other is the needle bar bearing
forms. As long as the two parts are coupled together by the sliding bolt
are,
the needle bar bearing is subjected to the oscillating movement by the link from the drive rocker arm
issued, the coupling bolt in the correspondingly-designed guide slot
of the sewing machine housing slides back and forth. However, if @dr coupling bolt against
the sewing mask @ # housing is withdrawn and thus the connection between the
solved both parts of the swing frame, so the influence of the drive rocker arm
lifted on the part of the swing frame forming the needle bar bearing, with
the latter at the same time, as the coupling bolt has a shoulder when retracting
into a corresponding recess within the guide slot on the sewing machine housing
occurs, is automatically fixed to the sewing machine housing and the needle bar bearing
secures against lateral movement.
pendelnder Nadelstange in gleicher Weise anwendbar. The new arrangement is both on zigzag sewing machines with around one
vertical axis swinging as well as those with a horizontal axis
oscillating needle bar can be used in the same way.
The invention is illustrated in the drawing in two exemplary embodiments. 1 shows the arrangement of the two-part swinging needle bar frame in the head of the sewing machine housing with a needle bar swinging about a vertical axis, the needle bar bearing being connected to the swing drive; the same arrangement as FIG. i with a needle bar oscillating about a horizontal axis and FIG. 4 a plan view of the guide slot for the coupling bolt: the needle bar frame, known per se, oscillating about a vertical axis a or oscillating about a horizontal axis b, consists according to the invention a part d inextricably connected to the handlebar c and a part f which forms the bearing for the needle bar e, which two parts are guided by a bolt i that is slidably guided in a slot g of the sewing machine housing h and is axially displaceable transversely to the direction of oscillation of the oscillating frame d, f and can be uncoupled. During zigzag sewing, the part f forming the needle bar bearing is coupled to the part d of the needle bar swing frame, which is moved back and forth by the link c, by the bolt i, which slides in the slot g of the sewing machine housing. To switch the machine to lockstitch and at the same time secure the needle bar bearing against lateral movement, only the coupling pin i is retracted so that it emerges from the part d of the swinging paralysis driven by your handlebar c and only this part d of the handlebar moved 4 ° back and forth, while the influence of the handlebar on the needle rod bearing forming part f of the swing frame is canceled. Here the coupling bolt occurs i. with a conical extension il, for example, into a corresponding recess k within the guide slot g and thus defines the part f of the oscillating frame forming the needle bar bearing on the sewing machine housing la so that the needle bar bearing is secured against lateral movement. The coupling bolt i can in its two axial end positions when coupling and uncoupling the two parts d and f of the oscillating frame by a grooved . or n of the bolt i engaging bolt p or similar means are secured against unwanted axial displacement.
