Description
Electrostatic separator with an uncharged sliding object the invention is an electrostatic separator for the separation of fine-grained material, .the one with an uncharged sliding surface for. the good is provided "with the on The goods sliding down the sliding surface from their lower ridges at different speeds is made to fall off. A device of this type is already known. the Invention is seen in the fact that one of their waste edge behind the sliding surface oppositely charged, electrically charged ones that serve as a baffle surface for the entire goods The cutting surface is arranged from which the goods are in different trajectories from one another , is thrown back separately. In this way it is achieved that the scattering angle the batch particles falling separately from the sliding surface can be enlarged and the separation process is improved. By adjusting the Inclination of the charged baffle and cutting surface or its distance from the waste edge the sliding surface you have it in your hand to change the impact effect and the to adapt to the respective circumstances.
The device according to the invention differs fundamentally from well-known institutions. with, an electrically charged sliding surface and a this upstream repulsion surface charged with the same polarity their additional repulsive effect further the more excitable mixture particles pushed out of the path of the more weakly or more slowly influenced and led away should be possible, as this is only possible through the influence of the sliding surface were. As a result of the charge of the same name on this repulsion surface, the material to be cut can in contrast to the effect of the baffle according to the invention not thrown back rather, the well-known repulsion surface is designed as a sieve or should also be unbroken, only pursued the purpose that sch, # vächer excitable good particles between the repulsion surface and the sliding surface or the more strongly charged particles fall through the front part of the sieve surface abet to fly over it and let it fall on the other side. This process has with the rebound which is aimed at by the invention and which increases the scattering angle the batch particles falling from the sliding surface in the separated state nothing in common.
The drawing shows in Fig. I in side view and in Fig. A in. An example front view illustrates how the invention can be carried out can.
The fine-grain material to be separated comes from the feed channel i i in the distribution funnel z, which it through an adjustable Slider 3 drops onto the inclined, uncharged soot surface. The area 4 is at 12 movably mounted on the frame 15 and. by means of the in the groove 14 of the frame guided and lockable bolt 13 'i their inclined position adjustable. About äff. Sliding surface 4, a grounded protection = creeks 8 can be provided.
Opposite the lower edge of the surface 4 there is a baffle surface io facing the material, the distance from which from the sliding surface. and inclination can be adjusted as required. This baffle io is thus isolated by insulators 1 6 1 5 against the frame and to earth and connected by a line 17 to a high voltage source. Direct current or alternating current can be used to charge the electrode io. Surge voltages can also be used for charging.
As a result of induction, the charged surface i o on the lower edge the sliding surface 4 exerts, obtained from the surface 4 at different speeds Falling particles generate an additional electrostatic charge and bounce electrostatically differently charged, as indicated by the dashed lines, on the surface i o on. From this they are separated from each other in different trajectories, thrown back into containers 6 and 7. With an adjustable tongue between the two Containers 6 and 7, the collection area can be regulated as required. As a result of different angles at which the particles move depending on their own electrostatic charge impinge on the surface i o, and under the influence of that of the cutting surface i o Electricity charge reversal, which is shorter or longer depending on the conductivity of the particles If it takes time, a separation occurs at very large scattering angles, creating a good one Divorce is conditional.
