Description
Double-faced knitted or knitted goods and processes for their production on a circular knitting machine The well-known knitted fabric in so-called interlock weave, hereinafter referred to as interlock fabric for short, is a double-faced mesh structure, which consists of two interwoven legal and legal goods, which thereby are interconnected that the wales of the two threads worked Right-and-right goods evenly alternating once on one and the other Times on the other of the two fabric surfaces, in the direction of the wales about half a mesh length mutually shifted appear.
In Fig. 3 is a cross-sectional view of this in the case of the interlock fabric known bond shown. The stitches from the black thread lie once on the front and the other time on the back. In the gaps along the Wales between the black stitches are then on the front and back the corresponding stitches from the white thread. The mesh heads of one surface of the goods In the interlock fabric, lie between the mesh heads of the others lying on top Surface of the fabric, seen in the direction of the wales. That particularly shows vividly Fig.6, which shows a longitudinal section through the goods in the direction VI-VI (Fig.3) represents. The mesh heads of the black and the occasional mesh are always in the middle of the needle stitch legs of the other surface of the fabric. To be in the simplest Way to get a picture of the mutual mesh position of the two fabric surfaces, should be based on the known stitch weave shown in Fig. i. With this type of binding, if you pull the loosely lying handles out of the black and while thread is still thinking of being processed into stitches, then you get the actual binding of the interlock fabric, as shown in the cross-section and longitudinal section from Fig. 3 and Fig.6 can be seen. From the one on which the interlock binding is based schematic representation (Fig. i) one recognizes in particular that the position of the individual Meshes are little secured to each other. The goods are, so to speak, made up of two pieces of goods put together, once the piece of goods from the black thread and the other time the piece of goods made from the white thread. There is no fixed, the location of the black and white threads clearly securing the binding so that the stitches come from the black and white thread do not coincide, resulting in the familiar, somewhat unclear mesh structure the interlockware is created. Usually the needle stitch covers one surface of the fabric the gap between the needle stitch of the other fabric surface, so that the fabric little is porous. The well-known imprints of the mesh structure of the interlock fabric, where the Meshes of the two surfaces of the goods are superimposed and do not correspond the actual Circumstances. These pre-published mesh patterns show, however, that the two surfaces of the goods lying on top of one another point in the direction of the sticks are displaceable to each other, so that already when working this interlocked goods the aforementioned, so to speak unclear mesh layer is created.
The knitwear of the present invention addresses these disadvantages the known interlockware. The knitted or knitted fabric according to the invention, the type of interlock goods a two-surface and therefore a double right-and-right goods represents, differs from the known interlockware in that. the two threads in the 1-loop row as in the wales of each of the two fabric surfaces Change from stitch to stitch and each needle stitch of the one surface of the fabric changes with it of the associated needle stitch and that the sinker stitch heads are at their apex lie on top of each other so that in the row of stitches as in the wales of the one surface of the goods which lead from each needle stitch to the other surface of the fabric: stitch legs the stitch legs of the needle stitches covered by these needle stitches alternately cross the other goods surface once and cross under the other time. It is thereby achieved that one of the two right and right items of goods is compared on the other hand, along the course of the wales neither after one nor after the other direction can be moved.
This knitted or knitted fabric according to the invention has the same possibility of lateral stretching and the same transverse elasticity as the well-known interlock fabric. By the immovable The binding of all meshes with one another creates a completely clear and permanent one Mesh structure, similar to that of the smooth knitted fabric. Since the crisscrossing mesh legs, which always run from one surface of the goods to the other, as I said, lying on top of each other cross each other in such a way that the same side of the stitch alternates i + i in the vial crochet once on and the other time under the other leg rests against this so that the stitches practically cannot be shifted and warped in the longitudinal direction, there is also a completely closed product, i. i. a product in which the Mesh row mesh head to mesh head lies.
In the manufacture of the goods according to the invention, according to a further feature of the invention, in knitting machines equipped with a cylinder needle row and a dial needle row, the procedure is that only one needle around the other of the cylinder needle row and the needles in between of the dial needle row form a partial mesh row then the remaining needles of the cylinder needle row and the Rippnadelreihe form the second partial course of stitches that connects to the first part row of stitches for the first stitch row, then the first part row of said second row of stitches is worked by the needles, the second sub-series in the before, continuous row of stitches have formed, after which the second sub-row of the second row of stitches is formed by the remaining needles of the cylinder needle row and dial needle row, that and in each that quick pocket row so, row the first sub-row is made from the needles that were in the previous row of stitches have worked the second partial row.
It has already become known to work knitted fabrics in such a way that they are made from two smooth goods, similar to the usual interlock goods, put together where the sinker loops cross each other and the heads of the needle loops all lie at the same height. By applying this to smoother, interlock-like Ware! Known technical rule on the interlockware are the above Advantages of the goods according to the invention over the usual interlock goods achieved.
In the drawing, only the abovementioned Fig. I, 3 and 6, which relate to the loading knew interlock represented five more images which he relate to the invention = modern knitting goods.
Fig. 2 shows the knitted fabric in a purely schematic, simplified representation, d. H. so that in reality the loosely lying handles are also to mesh must be thought processed. Figures 4 and 5 are cross-sectional views through two consecutive courses; Fig. Y is a longitudinal section in the direction VH-VII (Figures 4, 5 and 8). Figure 8 shows the knitted fabric according to the invention in plan view.
In explaining the binding of the he. The knitted fabric according to the invention should be based on the weave shown in Fig. 2, in which each row of stitches consists of two threads a and b , and in which the needle stitches i + i are alternately formed either by only one thread or only by the other thread, while the thread parts (il), (2r) of the two threads not formed into stitches lie behind the needle stitches formed from the respective other thread as a handle that every second one is deposited: handle of a row of stitches the ends of the handles from the respective covers another thread and that the same alternation i + i in the needle stitch formation from one thread a and the other thread b in the mutual position of the handles (Ir), (2r) is also present in each crochet. The difference between the goods shown schematically in Fig. I for the known interlock goods and the goods shown schematically in Fig. 2 for the goods according to the invention is not only that in the goods shown in Fig Straight lines lie, but also in the fact that in the goods according to Fig. 2 the position of the thread in the row of stitches changes from stitch to stitch as in wales.
As a result, this is already shown purely schematically in Fig. A Single-surface goods are known to have a relatively high mesh strength. Are the handles (zr) and (2r) for this product according to Fig. 2 according to the type of interlock product to right or Left stitches processed, then the result is the knitted fabric according to the invention, which can be seen in cross-section, longitudinal section and view from Fig. q., 5, 7 and 8 is.
Fig. 8 shows this particularly clearly, similar to the clad goods The mesh heads of both fabric surfaces lie well on top of one another. The one shown in Fig. 4 Course of stitches corresponds to the two courses of stitches IV-IV in Figure 8, while those in The row of stitches shown in Fig.5 corresponds to the rows of stitches V-V. The cross section through the goods according to the invention, as shown in Figure 7, is a side view along the line VII-VII in Figure 8. The intersection is also clear in this figure the sinker mesh can be seen, which is in particular the cause that the Meshes of the individual goods surfaces remain immovable in their position on top of one another.
From Figs. 7 and 8 it can be seen that the needle stitches of the two Goods surfaces are exactly opposite one another, and it can also be seen that through the crossing of the sinker meshes a mutual displacement of the two goods surfaces and thus an unwanted shifting of the needle loops towards the one surface of the fabric the needle stitches of the other fabric surface is practically impossible. The white ones Sinker mesh heads from thread b always lie above the black sinker mesh heads from the thread a. Because in the row of stitches as in wales everyone The needle stitches from the black thread and the white thread are evenly distributed over the fabric change, are in the row of stitches as in the wales of one fabric surface the stitch legs leading from each needle stitch to the other fabric surface of the stitch legs of the needle stitches covered by these needle stitches the other goods surface alternately crossed once and crossed under the other time.
In the production of the known interlocking goods, the procedure is known to be that of two rows of needles, e.g. B. the cylinder and dial needles, each one needle around the other of the one job, so the needles iNc and iNr (Fig.3) form stitches, while in the next row the needles in between each job, so the needles 2Ne in the cylinder needle row and the needles 2Nr in the row of dial needles .Mitches. Then the needles iNc and iNr work again, then the needles 2Ne and zNr again etc. In Fig. 3 the needles are indicated by dots. The stitches ic and Ir formed by them last correspond to the top black stitches ic in Fig. I; the row of stitches previously worked by needles 2Ne and 2Nr corresponds to the top white row of stitches in Fig. i, but only with regard to the cylinder needle stitches 2c. The Rippnadelmaschen 2r and the Rippnadelmaschen il * of Fig.3 correspond to the schematic representation of Fig. I the non-formed into stitches handles, which are therefore designated by (Ir) or with (2R). The old stitches, through which the new stitches of the two operations are pulled, are labeled 3c or 3r and qr or 4r, also in the stitch pattern according to Fig. I, only that there the designations 3r and .J are put in brackets , because in this purely schematic representation there are loosely lying handles instead of meshes.
