Process for the production of N-vinyl compounds In main patent 618
120 is a process for the preparation of N-vinyl compounds of pyrrole or the
Pyrrohing-containing orange, panic compounds and in the additional patent 6362r3
such as described for the preparation of N-vinyl compounds of diarylamines.
In both processes, acetylene is dissolved in the presence of basic substances
the corresponding compounds act at an elevated temperature.
in kontinuierlicher Arbeitsweise. It has now been found that the addition of acetylene to the substances mentioned in the main patent 6 1 8 12 o and in the additional patent 636 213 can be accelerated particularly strongly if a strongly alkaline compound is used as a catalyst together with metallic zinc or a zinc compound . Zinc shavings, zinc dust, zinc oxide, zinc salts and also alkali zincates are particularly suitable for this. The zinc compounds can be added to the reaction mixture as such or deposited on carriers. The procedure is carried out in the same way as stated in the main and additional patent. The high effectiveness of the new catalysts enables the N-vinyl compounds to be prepared continuously in a particularly advantageous manner.
Beispiel i Ein Druckgefäß wird mit 5o Gewichtsteilen sublimiertem
Carbazol, 5o Gewichtsteilen Cyclohexan, 2 Gewichtsteilen Kaliumhydroxyd und i Gewichtsteil
Zinkstaub beschickt.
Acetylen erst in 81/2 Stunden angelagert. Die Rohlösung ist hierbei dunkler gefärbt
als bei Verwendung von Zinkstaub.
