In der beigefügten Zeichnung stellt Fig. 1 eine Seitenansicht im Schnitt dar. FF ist das
Fafs mit den angeschraubten Haken H1 und L die Schraube, in welcher das die Luft zuführende
Ventil sitzt. An derselben ist das Rohr befestigt, welches bis zum Boden des Fasses reicht. R ist die Reinigungsschraube,
B B die Brücke im Schnitt und G die Dichtungsscheibe gegen das Fafs.In the accompanying drawing, Fig. 1 shows a side view in section. Der Hahn wird auf folgende Weise befestigt: Zwei Haken H1 werden an dem Rand
des Fasses befestigt (Fig. 1); die Mutter Z wird in der Richtung gegen die Scheibe G so weit
wie möglich hinausgeschraubt. Zwischen dem Hahn und der Scheibe befindet sich in einer
Vertiefung eine Lederdichtung und zwischen Fafs und Scheibe wird ebenfalls eine Dichtungsscheibe
gelegt. Unterhalb Z befindet sich die Brücke B, welche eine einer Kugelform entsprechende
Vertiefung hat, in die die Mutter Z pafst. Der Hahn wird, nachdem die Schraube L
mit dem Luft zuführenden Rohr herausgenommen ist, auf den das Fafs verschliefsenden
Kork gestellt. Nachdem die Brücke B zwischen die Haken H und den Boden des Fasses gebracht
ist, wird die Mutter Z in Richtung gegen die Brücke gedreht, wodurch zunächst
die Brücke gegen die Haken geprefst wird. Durch weiteres Drehen der Mutter wird der
Kork in das Fafs getrieben und die Scheibe G fest gegen den Boden des Fasses geprefst,
worauf die Schraube L eingeschraubt wird. Der in das Fafs hineinragende Theil des Hahnes
ist mit kleinen Löchern versehen, um das vollständige Abfliefsen des Bieres zu gestatten, das
Durchfliefsen von Pechstücken aber zu verhindern. The part of the tap protruding into the barrel is provided with small holes to permit the beer to drain off completely, but to prevent pieces of pitch from flowing through.
