Bei gewissen Elektronenröhren sind die vom Innern des Kolbens zum Sockel geführten Drähte so zahlreich, daß es nicht mehr möglich ist, die notwendige Anzahl Stecker stifte auf einem Sockel üblicher Bemessung unterzubringen. Man ist deshalb dazu übergegangen, die Kontaktstücke seitlich auf dem Röhrensockel anzuordnen. Dies hat den Vorteil, daß das Löten aller Drähte nun im. Tauchbad vorgenommen werden kann, und zwar so, daß 'die untere Fläche der Kontaktstücke vom Zinn nicht berührt wird.
