Description
Process for the construction of endless wooden pipes made of staves As is known, the endless wooden stave pipes consist of wooden staves, which form the actual pipe body, and of iron or other metal reinforcement stirrups with which the staves are held together and which absorb the internal pressure of the pipe. The construction of these pipes is as follows: First, the actual pipe body is assembled from the individual staves, which is done with the help of outer and inner templates, then this assembled pipe body is reinforced with stirrups. There are different procedures for doing this. The simplest is when the ends of the stirrups, which have a round shape, are pulled apart and placed across the pipe across the pipe axis. The ends of the stirrups are then connected to the devices provided (usually clamping shoes) and the stirrups are tightened on them. However, this method can only be used if the stirrups are designed so that they do not suffer when the ends stand apart, which is necessary in order to be able to pass them over the pipe. This will only be the case if they are not too strong, and of course the diameter of the pipe is decisive. B. a bracket made of iz mm thick round iron over a tube of in cross-section in this way can still be applied; However, this is no longer possible with a pipe with a cross-section of 0.5 m. The bracket will then get a kink that would first have to be realigned so that it rests evenly on the pipe.
General rules in which cases the bracket on the described Wise can be applied, can not be given, as this is not only dated Ratio of the strength of the stirrup to the pipe diameter, but also of the different Properties of the ironing material (elasticity, brittleness or the like) depends.
You could help yourself by making the hangers in two parts, d. H. so that the stirrups each consist of two semicircles, but which of course also require two connections. The application of such stirrups would reduce the construction of But make wooden pipes unnecessarily expensive.
So if one-piece brackets have to be used that are not in the manner described above, because they differ because of their strength do not allow it to be pulled apart, there is no other option than the round one Push the bent bracket onto the finished pipe section from the front. This can be done again done in different ways, such as B. by placing the bracket on the already done reinforced pipe can be pushed, namely as many stirrups as for the next one to be pre-assembled Piece of pipe are needed, and then after. the stem from behind, so to speak be pulled forward in the direction of the pipe axis, or by first adding a Another set of staves is built in front and then the stirrups from the front this new pre-built pipe section can be pushed on. The common lack of that during time; in which the bracket pushed on from the front iv that, of course, further staves cannot be built and the building is un'te; must be broken. The shifting of the bracket on the tube body is also longitudinal to the axis quite time-consuming, since the pipe at certain intervals, z. B. 'all 4 m, and also the one that has just been built in front. Egg protected by an external template must become. It can thus often not be avoided that the pipe of These documents must be lifted off, each with a bracket on the other side to move the document. This procedure is particularly difficult and time-consuming, if it is not about simple documents, but about bucks that Clamp the pipe to at least 1/3 of the height, or if there are no supports at all are available and the pipe rests directly on the floor.
It therefore takes a long time before further building work is carried out can. This can only happen when the staves of the pipe end to the further is to be built in front, are already firmly clamped together by reinforcement stirrups. -Purpose of the present invention is to eliminate the aforementioned deficiencies, i. H. the length of time from the completion of "assembling a set of staves until the beginning - the assembly of a new set of staves has to pass. For this purpose, the reinforcement stirrups are not, as described above, on - the assembled staves are applied, but the reinforcement stirrups are applied first erected in front of the already-finished pipe section and then the staves into it Bracket mounted in it. After completing the assembly of a set of staves so then the rings are already on the pipe body.
For example, to set up the reinforcement stirrups in front of the finished pipe end of a specially built frame, with the help of which it is possible is to be able to hold the reinforcement stirrups in place. allowed the staves assemble inside the reinforcement stirrups. The frame is useful here Designed so that both the stirrups are held at such a distance from the end of the pipe can be; so that they are no longer moved after the staves have been assembled need to be, as also the possibility is provided, the bracket on a hold other than the final place, as fall sometimes occurs; that the bracket interfere at the final point during assembly; in this case it is appropriate to provide the possibility. they also on another wave to hold on, from which they can easily erch sideways or onto others can be brought to the right place.
An exemplary embodiment for the frame is given in the accompanying drawing. Fig. I shows the frame a to which the wooden slats b are attached; These wooden slats have notches c in which the reinforcement stirrups d can be set up. The distance between the notches c depends on the number of stirrups to be erected. But you can also use slats in which there is, for example, a notch every 5 cm, so that it is not necessary to make new slats each time for the tubes, where the brackets are not always the same distance from each other. Another embodiment, which makes it possible to vary the distance between the brackets from one another and also to move the brackets laterally, is shown in FIGS. In Fig. 2, b is an upper slat of the frame; The angle sits on the lath, which has a screw on one side, by means of which one can press the angle e onto the lath b. On the other side of the angle e there is a z. B. consisting of resilient steel bracket g, in which the reinforcement stirrup is clamped.
Fig. 3 shows the same device in plan. When applied the device shown in Fig. 2 and 3, the notches of the lower Do not use the lath, as the brackets are held firmly in place by the clamps. The frame is expediently constructed in such a way that the slats are made removable, so that the frame can be easily removed from the finished pipe.
Not about the installation of the staves in the erected reinforcement stirrups To make it more difficult, it is useful to make this a certain amount larger in diameter to make than it would be necessary for the purpose of reinforcement alone, so too if the staves to be installed are not completely straight, for example, there is enough space is available.
If a frame is used to hold the reinforcement stirrups in place, see this is best designed in such a way that after it fulfills its purpose has, d. H. after the newly assembled pipe section has already been pressed together and with it in preparation for a new set of staves. is prepared, quickly removed and returned can be set up quickly. It is best to use a number identically designed frames, so that one is always built up is, when a set of staves is assembled and not to be waited for needs until the used to assemble this just finished piece of pipe Frame removed and rebuilt forward.
The technical progress of the process lies in the elimination the deficiencies of the previous construction described in the introduction. You can go with With the help of the new process, stirrups of any thickness for the reinforcement of the pipes use, and it is no longer necessary to further stem the pipe to interrupt. According to the previous method, however, this always had to be done, because as long as the pre-built set of staves, which is just a loose bundle of staves without any cohesion and often not even in in the correct position, not held together by the stirrups not be built any further. These interruptions, which take up a lot of time, completely avoided. The construction of wooden pipes is carried out by the process is more or less continuous; by applying the procedure you only need a part of the time to build a wooden pipe, which after the State-of-the-art design described in the introduction was necessary for the construction of a wooden pipe of the same length. This is not just about a significant technical advance, but also a significant economic one Progress, as the reduction in construction time reduces costs.
