Description
Vorrichtung zur Wiederbelebung Scheintoter durch künstliche Atmung Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Wiederbelebung Scheintoter.Device for resuscitation of the seemingly dead through artificial respiration The invention relates to a device for resuscitation of the seemingly dead.
In these devices that have become known, no consideration has been given so far taken on any necessary resuscitation because the devices allowed only artificial breathing in the sense of natural breathing, d. H. a Caused phase changes at equal time intervals, about 15 times a minute. Consequently could undoubtedly the best method, namely the excitation of the heart by the External massage with the heel of the hand during exhalation, not used with success will.
Each inhalation (filling the lungs) lasted 4 seconds, and each Exhalation (emptying the lungs) lasted 4 seconds..It was ruled out this short exhalation time for heart massage performed by the doctor Using the prescribed rhythm (ioomal per minute) attentively.
The purpose of the invention is to prevent inhalation in the normal short time on the other hand, allowing the exhalation to go on for a considerably longer period of time. This is known per se in the pneumatic, operated by an injector Device for artificial respiration achieved in that the provided in the control chamber Passages or valves have different cross-sections, so that the suction power of the injector is reduced during exhalation so that the exhalation is about twice lasts as long as inhalation.
In the drawing is an embodiment of the new device shown. Only the parts essential for understanding the invention are included, namely the injector and the control chamber. Fig, r shows the valve position during inhalation, Fig. a the valve position during exhalation. The device is in a known manner by compressed air or by compressed oxygen from a steel cylinder and connected pressure reducing valve. The reversal of the breathing phases usually happens automatically in such a way that at the end of the inhalation resulting maximum overpressure ufd the maximum negative pressure arising at the end of exhalation is used as an impulse for a switching mechanism. This facility is not drawn, as of course very different embodiments and also manual reversal can also be used.
in andere Richtung geleitet.
The exhalation time should expediently be twice as long as the inhalation time (8 seconds). The opening of the valve 7 is to be dimensioned accordingly. The same The result can of course also be achieved by arranging a special one Throttle nozzle in the line between the valve? and the mask when the valve 7 should be unsuitable as a stop because of the implementation of the valve rod. However, in this case, it is necessary that the automatic switching mechanism also is included in the range of the delayed injector performance. During the extended The exhalation period is the heart massage necessary in many cases for resuscitation practically feasible.
