Description

Coal dust burner The invention relates to a vortex burner for Coal dust with air supply in several coaxial tubes and consists of that the pipes are provided with spiral housings at the dust inlet, which lie on top of each other in steps. It is known that dust air is present in pulverized coal burners to be fed to an annular slot by means of a spiral housing. Further it is known to contain dust air and clean air by enclosing each other on the same axis Blowing in pipes, as well as introducing air and dust air tangentially into the annular spaces. Here, the outer edge of the feed pipe was tangent to the cylinder jacket guided. To avoid shock losses, which is especially important for the evenness of the dust-air mixture are harmful, however, the inner edge of the supply pipe must touch the coat. The outer one must therefore be brought up to the housing in a spiral shape. So that this in the case of pulverized coal burners, which require a compact arrangement, is possible, the volute casings are laid one on top of the other in steps. The order according to the invention is shown in Figs. Every spiral is with that associated jacket pipe connected. The individual tubes are plugged into one another and screwed together on the volute casing. The spirals can be equal or alternately directed in opposite directions. The pipelines come from different ones Directions, the housing can be rotated accordingly to the extent of the screw pitch.
