Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht" sich auf leine weitere Ausgestaltung der Vorrichtung
zum Anzeigen der Erreichung des Flüssigkeitsstandes,
insbesondere des Elektrolyten galvanischer Elemente, gemäß dem: Patent
564 973- Bei der in dem erwähnten Patent
beschriebenen Vorrichtung erfolgt die Feststellung des Flüssigkeitsstandes in der Weise,
daß man durch abwechselndes Drücken, und to Loslassen des an dem oberen Ende des Steigrohres
angebrachten Gummiballes ermittelt, ob von dem Steigrohr Luft oder Flüssigkeit
angesaugt wird. Dies ist daran zu erkennen, daß beim Ansaugen von Luft der Gummiball
auf Grund seiner Elastizität sehr schnell seine ursprüngliche Form annimmt, dagegen beim
Ansaugen von Flüssigkeit dies nur sehr langsam tut. Auf Grund der vorliegenden Erfindung
wird die Ermittlung des Flüssigfceits-Standes bei einer derartigen Vorrichtung dadurch,
ganz wesentlich 'erleichtert, daß der in die Flüssigkeit eingetauchte Hohlkörper, vorzugsweise
das Steigrohr, pfeifenartig, insbesondere als ungedeckte Lippenpfeife, ausgebildet
ist. Die Vorrichtung nach der Erfindung arbeitet also nach, akustischen Prinzipien.
* Zur Ermittlung des Flüssigkeitsstandes wird das Steigrohr bis zu einer bestimmten Marke
in den Behälter eingeführt und die in dem Rohr eingeschlossene Luftsäule in akustische
Schwingungen, z. B. mittels des Gummiballes, versetzt. Die Schwingungszahl wird verändert,
vorzugsweise erhöht, sobald das Steigj rohr in die Flüssigkeit 'eintaucht und seine
untere Öffnung durch den Flüssigkeitsspiegel abgeschlossen wird. Die Luftsäule in dem
Steigrohr kann durch jedes beliebige Mittel in akustische Schwingungen versetzt werden,
z. B. auch mittels einer Membran. Die Tonhöhe wird zweckmäßig so gewählt, daß im
ungedeckten Zustande ein hörbarer Ton überhaupt nicht entsteht und dies erst dann erfolgt,
sobald der Hohlkörper, vorzugsweise das Steigrohr, in die Flüssigkeit eintaucht und
