Vorrichtung zum Spannen von fahnenartigen Stoffbahnen In neuerer Zeit
ist es üblich geworden, bei Festlichkeiten, die unter freiem Himmel stattfinden,
von hohen Gerüsten fahnenartige, zur Dekoration bestimmte Stoffbahnen herabhängen
zu lassen. Diese Gerüste erhalten häufig sehr bedeutende Höhen (3o m und mehr),
und entsprechend lang sind auch die Stoffbahnen; die Breite ist dieser Länge angepaßt.
Wenn es nun auch nicht schwierig ist, das Gerüst selbst bei starkem Wind und Sturm
genügend standfest zu machen, so droht doch die Gefahr des Zerreißens der Stoffbahnen.
Um dies zu vermeiden, werden erfindungsgemäß die Stoffbahnen nicht fest, sondern
nachgiebig in den Gerüsten aufgehängt, und zwar in der Weise, daß das- untere Ende
der Stoffbahn auf eine festgelagerte Walze aufgewickelt wird, die im Sinne des Aufwickelns
nachgiebig unter Spannung gehalten wird. Bei Windstößen usw. wird sich das zunächst
straff und geradlinig gespannte Tuch durchbiegen und sich mehr oder weniger von
der Walze abwickeln. Bei jedem Nachlassen des Windes wird aber die Walze das Tuch

Kolbenstange und dem Kolben eines hydraulischen Zylinders k bzw. L ge-
leitet

Rohrleitungen mit einer Luftflaschen in Verbindung, die ebenfalls teilweise mit
Flüssigkeit gefüllt ist, während sich darüber ein Polster von Druckluft befindet.
Die Spannung dieser Druckluft ist so gewählt, daß durch die Vorrichtung bei Ruhe
