Die Erfindung betrifft ein Bett, dessen Liegefiäche aus einer Stoffbahn besteht. Betten
dieser Art sind bereits bekannt. Es ist auch vorgeschlagen worden, die Stoffbahn nachspannbar
zu machen in der Weise, daß die über die Längsholme oder über die Längsleisten des Gestelles gelegte Stoffbahn unterhalb
durch Schnüre zusammengezogen wird. Diese Anordnung hat aber den Mangel, daß
ίο der Raum unter der Stoffbahn nicht frei ist,
so daß es nicht möglich ist, die Füße des Gestelles ganz nach innen einzuschlagen, wodurch
das Bett nicht ganz flach zusammengelegt werden kann. Durch die unterhalb der Stoffbahn liegenden Befestigungs- bzw.

Bei dem Bett gemäß der Erfindung ist die Stoffbahn lose über die Längsholme gelegt
ao und an ihren beiden Rändern, wie an sich bekannt, mit einem Hohlsaum versehen, in
den eine Stange eingelegt wird. Durch in gewissen Abständen angeordnete Löcher im
Stoff oberhalb dieser Stange sind dann, &5 Schnüre, die durch Ösen o. dgl. an den Längsholmen
hindurchgezogen werden, hindurchgeführt, so daß man durch Anziehen dieser Schnüre die Stoffbahn bequem spannen kann.
Die Nachspannung erfolgt also hier an den Längsholmen selbst. Der Raum unterhalb
der Stoffbahn bleibt vollkommen frei, und man kann die Füße oder Stützen des Gestelles
ganz nach innen einschlagen, so daß kein Teil über die Breite der Hohne hinausgeht."
Das ganze Bett ist'also sehr flach zusammenlegbar und daher gut transportfähig.
In der Zeichnung ist ein Bett gemäß der Erfindung in die Fig. 1 und 2 in einem Ausführungsbeispiel
dargestellt.
Die Stoffbahn α wird bei dem Beispiel von
einem rechteckigen Rahmen getragen, der Längshohne b besitzt. Die Längsränder des
Stoffes sind mit einem Hohlsaume versehen, und in diesen sind Leisten d eingelegt. Durch
Löcher e der Stoffbahn sind Schnüre / gezogen, die durch Öseng·, die am Längshohn &
befestigt sind, hindurchgeführt werden. Wie Fig. ι zeigt, werden die Schnüre zweckmäßig
hin und her geführt durch eine beliebige Anzahl Ösen, so daß man beim Lösen eines
Knotens bequem die Nachspannung der Stoffbahn, gegebenenfalls mit einem einzigen Zuge,
vornehmen kann. Der Stoff wird bei der vorliegenden Anordnung durch die Schnüre keinesfalls selbst beansprucht, da die Zugübertragung
auf den Stoff durch die in dem Saum desselben liegenden Leisten erfolgt. Ein Einreißen des Stoffes ist daher ausgeschlossen.
Bei sehr langen Betten kann man anstatt eines einzelnen durchgehenden
Schnurzuges natürlich eine Unterteilung vornehmen, außerdem auch dann, wenn etwa
durch die verschiedenen Beanspruchungen der Stoffbahn an den verschiedenen Stellen einzelne
