Flow meter The invention relates to a flow meter, and
a device, by means of which the amount flowing through in the unit of time is a
Medium, in particular a fine liquid or a gas, measured and immediately
should be displayed.
At. known devices of this type is the measuring body, which is under action
a counter-pressure spring, designed like a shovel. This has the disadvantage that
the measuring body is moved back and forth abruptly, which affects the measurement result.
It is therefore already proposed his flow meter in which the
Measuring body consists of a wide disc, the surface of which is parallel. to the flow cock
runs. - In this known device, the centrally mounted disc is from the housing
tightly encompassed, and the disc is gradually increasing on its circumference
Provided longitudinal groove. The flow acts tangentially on this disk, so that the disk
dragged along by the friction caused by the flow. will. One intermittently
Effect is reduced with these devices because the groove begins flat and completely
gradually gets bigger. But as long as the groove is smaller than the inflow and outflow,
it will cause pressure drops. This also causes interference with this device
it is to be expected that the flowing medium will penetrate into the housing surrounding the disk.
- Since its outflow is not at its deepest. Place is, congestion of the flowing
Medium and eddy formations are to be expected, which can interfere with the measurement.
In relation to this acquaintance, there is the innovation according to the invention
at, a flow meter with a disc rotated counter to spring force essentially
in that the circular, thing was disc in a longitudinal slot of the in the disc housing
inlet pipe; it protrudes and that the disc housing both laterally
the disc as well as between it and its lower housing wall leading freely to the drain
leaves enough space, so that the bleeding of the disc by congestion or vortex formation
the flowing medium is not affected.
The drawing shows the subject matter of the invention in an exemplary embodiment,
namely Fig. i is a schematic side view of the flow meter omitted
the front housing wall and Fig. Weeping section along the line 2-z of Fig. r.
h (Fig. a) angeordnet und drehbar gelagert.
der Scheibe a weiten Spielraum.
In the housing k, the measuring disk a is arranged centrally on an axis h (FIG. A) and is rotatably mounted. It consists, for example, of sheet metal, of hard rubber. o. The like. According to the invention, my longitudinal slot c (FIG. z) of the inflow tube b engages. In the illustrated embodiment, this disk a bears a mark e which moves back and forth over a division f. The mark e and the division can, for. B. be observed through a pane of glass, not shown. The disk a is in a known manner under the counteraction of a spiral spring g shown schematically in FIG. Fig. I shows the mark e in the end position, that is, at the highest flow pressure to be measured with this device. If the flow ceases, i.e. if the friction acting through it on both side surfaces of the disk a diminishes, the spring g turns the disk a back until the mark comes to the lower end of the division /. The housing k, as shown in FIG. 2, allows a wide margin to the side of the disk a. Since the lower edge of this housing k in FIG. B. the liquid, hindered in any way. If, despite this, some liquid remains temporarily in the housing k, the disk a also has enough distance downwards from the housing wall so that the disk can be influenced by any vortex formation in the medium or d91. are not expected.
