Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung von Verbindungsstellen in der Isolation von elektrischen Seekabeln Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Verbindungsstellen in der Isolation von elektrischen Seekabeln, die mit Guttapercha oder guttaperchaähnlichen Stoffen isoliert sind. Die Herstellung derartiger Isolationsverbindungsstellen ist eines der schwierigsten Probleme der Seekabelfabrikation überhaupt. Während bei Guttaperchakabeln die Herstellung der Verbindungsstellen von Facharbeitern mit der Hand ausgeführt werden kann, mußte für die Verbindung von Adern mit einer Isolation aus güttaperchaähnlichen Stoffen, wie Paragutta, ein besonderes Verfahren ausgearbeitet und eine besondere Maschine konstruiert werden, um eine einwandfreie Haftung der einander überlappenden Flächen zu erzielen.
