Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf Selbstverkäufer für in Behältern liegende Stückware, bei welchen die Behälter kranzförmig angeordnet sind und bei Einwurf einer Münze von Hand um ein Fach' weiter vor die Ausgabeöffnung geschaltet werden. Um eine ausreichende Prüfung der Münze während der Vorschubbewegung zu erzielen, verwendet die Erfindung einen konzentrisch zu dem Fächerkranz angeordneten und für sich beweglichen Münzenschieber, welcher über eine Feder elastisch mit dem Fächerkranz verbunden ist. Der Fächerkranz ist in der Ruhelage durch ein Sperrglied verriegelt, welches von der eingelegten Münze im Laufe der Vorschubbewegung des Münzschiebers beeinflußbar ist. Beim Münzvorschub wird zunächst die Feder gespannt und sodann sprunghaft durch, das Sperrglied freigegeben. Für die Münzprüfung steht somit annähernd die durch den Abstand benachbarter Aussparungen für die Münzen bestimmte Wegstrecke zur Verfügung.
